6th Floor Common Room, Saturday evening

The sixth floor common room was all done up for a party. Really all that meant was that there was pizza, chips, and drinks (including some that seemed to be mysteriously unlabeled for anyone who might want to drink something that IS TOTALLY FINE AND YOU CAN'T PROVE OTHERWISE in the dorms). There was also a small American flag over by the TV to indicate that what this weekend was really about wasn't completely forgotten, especially considering Jessica's recent military experiences.

But those experiences were even more reason for her to relax, play some music on the radio, and hope that nobody stabbed anybody this time.

[OOC: This is the party with the I Never game that leads to Not-So-Final Destination Week. If you'd like to participate in that, please at least establish yourself in the game and maybe throw out some prompts!

Everyone in the dorms is invited via fliers from earlier this week.]

AKA Show up and maybe talk to some people.

There's a table off to the side with plenty of moddable food and plenty of moddable drinks.

Some of those moddable drinks have no labels, just in case Big Brother is watching. Because Jessica has trained under Nick Fury and she assumes that Big Brother is always watching. Also, squirrels.

To keep people entertained. I Never is a given, and others are possible if anyone has suggestions.

Usual rules. One person gives an "I never" prompt, people respond to the prompt with drinking (if they have done it) or not drinking (if they haven't), Irony makes note of who doesn't drink when, and then we have stuff to do for a week!

Wait, those last two points aren't the usual rules....

I'm around all day if you need anything! If anyone has other game ideas, feel free to throw them out or just drop them in the games thread.

Gert showed up sans Old Lace, because dinosaurs might be party animals, but not always in a good way. Also, there was only so much couch space.

If it looked like she had never been to a high school party before, that was because she had never been to a high school party before. So that was one mystery solved.

Sia did show up to these things on purpose every now and then, and today was one of those days. She got a drink- an unlabeled one, even- and looked to see who was showing up.

"Hey, Gert," Jessica said. "Make yourself comfortable. You have the honor of being fashionably early compared to anyone else who might show up."

"Thanks," Gert said. "Is 'fashionably early' even a thing?"

Technically, no. Non-technically, also no.

"Sia! I'm glad you came. You're my backup in case anyone tries to get a little enh-enh-enh," Jessica said while making stabby motions.

Hopefully Sia picked up on what that meant.

"Usually only with very efficient supermodels," Jessica reasoned.

"Well, call me-- huh. I don't think I know the names of any supermodels."

Tragic gap in her pop culture knowledge, that.

"Call me one of those, anyway."

"All I've got is Tyra, and that's from vague Top Model knowledge," Jessica said. "Something tells me you wouldn't want me calling you Tyra."

Alex was supposed to learn to be more social while she was here. A party seemed like a good opportunity to do that, so she made sure to show up. She might even stay.

"Hey. Alex, right?" Jessica asked. "From the picnic, and classes. How's it going?"

"Yeah, probably not," Gert agreed. "There are only so many names that are a step down from 'Gertrude,' but I think that one ranks. I guess we can just accept my supermodelness without using pseudonyms."

Thinking up prompts was kind of weirdly difficult, which was why Gert's first one was pretty lame.

"I've never had blonde hair," she offered.

"First a cheerleader, now this. You're coming so far in the shallow end of the world," Jessica joked.

She understood the gesture, but Jessica was getting a Look for that enh-enh-enh thing. "I'm sure no one will be trying that tonight," she said.

"I know I've only done radio twice ever, but I'm still going with this. I've never cursed on radio!" Jessica said.

"I'm gonna blame the East Coast," Gert decided. "Obviously it's a toxic environment."

This whole concept seemed strange to Sia, but it also seemed harmless enough. Though yes, coming up with prompts was difficult.

"I've never driven a car."

"I know. It was mostly just dark humor," Jessica said. "But I'm still keeping an eye open."

That was probably another joke. Probably.

"Clearly, but us East Coasters wouldn't have it any other way," Jessica said.

"Having both eyes open would improve your day in general," Sia suggested.

That was definitely a joke.
