6th Floor Common Room, Saturday evening

The sixth floor common room was all done up for a party. Really all that meant was that there was pizza, chips, and drinks (including some that seemed to be mysteriously unlabeled for anyone who might want to drink something that IS TOTALLY FINE AND YOU CAN'T PROVE OTHERWISE in the dorms). There was also a small American flag over by the TV to indicate that what this weekend was really about wasn't completely forgotten, especially considering Jessica's recent military experiences.

But those experiences were even more reason for her to relax, play some music on the radio, and hope that nobody stabbed anybody this time.

[OOC: This is the party with the I Never game that leads to Not-So-Final Destination Week. If you'd like to participate in that, please at least establish yourself in the game and maybe throw out some prompts!

Everyone in the dorms is invited via fliers from earlier this week.]

You know what Maddie hadn't had nearly enough of in her life? High school parties. Time to fix that. She was just going to take a moment to look over the drinks, and try to figure out what the unlabeled ones were.

Yes, she knew they what they were, she was just trying to figure out what kind with little to know knowledge to work from.

"Hey, Maddie. Glad you could make it," Jessica said. "Be careful with the unlabeled ones. For no particular reason." She said that so the squirrels wouldn't catch on.

Like the squirrels wouldn't be breaking into the rum later.

"I'll do my best," she said. "Though I don't know what most of them are, what with the not being labeled."

"Mostly cheap beer," Jessica said. "I really should have gotten a drinks consultant to help me pick stuff out. And a sponsor. The money kind, not the AA kind. That would be inappropriate."

"Not to mention they'd probably try to talk you out of it," Maddie pointed out.

"I don't think they'd accept, 'I'm not an addict, I'm just a teenager throwing a party!' as good reasoning, either," Jessica mused.

"There'd probably be a lecture to go along with it, too," Maddie said. She assumed. This was from the perspective of a girl whose mom should probably totally have a sponsor.

"I'm more glad than ever that I didn't go that route," Jessica said. "I probably could have checked in with two or three people around here, but I'm pretty sure things would have escalated quickly. I mean, we do have a Tony Stark."
