2nd Floor Common Room, Wednesday afternoon

Cecil didn't have any classes today, so he was splitting his time between writing passionate e-mail messages to ♥Carlos♥, walking around a lot, and feeding Foucault. Who seemed to need an awful lot of food, but he supposed that was normal for a growing...well, whatever he was.

At the moment, he was in the common room, trying to scrounge fish and shrimp, since Carlos had suggested Foucault looked closest to a flamingo, and the little guy did seem to like the stuff. Foucault was waddling and flapping about the counter, squeaking adorably.

"Okay!" Raven preened a little, then scratched behind one head's ears with a hind leg, her tail whipping about a bit. "I've never tried this one before. I bet it'll scare the pants off my brother!"

"It scared the pants off me for a second!" Cecil announced cheerfully as he pulled out his phone. He backed up a bit to get all of her in the picture. "Say bees!"

Raven spread out her heads to make try to make sure he could get them all at their best angles. "Beeeeeeeeessssss."

Ooo, these mouths were great for hissing.

"Oo, neat!" Cecil snapped the picture and made sure he hadn't had a finger on the lens or anything. "Look!" He held the screen up to the nearest head.

Raven took a good look. "I should make movies," she decided, shifting back to her more practiced blonde form (five heads got tiring, who knew?). "I could win awards for my 'special effects'."

Well, that would be better than trying to wipe out humanity, at least.

[voiceoverdue]

That depended on the movies, really.

"Raven!" Cecil acted shocked and wounded. "You'd leaving our radio friendship for the visual media?" He picked up Foucault, who was still blinking uncertainly at the shapes appearing and disappearing all around him. "What would Foucault say to that?"

Foucault squeaked.

Cecil giggled.

"I could do both," Raven decided. "Changing shape sort of demands pictures."

[voiceoverdue]

"Weelllll...I suppose," Cecil conceded with a grin. "Just so long as you never forget radio."

[tigerundercover]

"You never forget your first love," Raven assured him.

[voiceoverdue]

"Mm." Okay, that was Cecil looking horny dreamy. "True."

He shook it off after a moment and blushed.

"Oh! That reminds me, I found a swell podcast the other day. Want me to get my computer? We could send that picture to your brother, too!"

That was Cecil changing the subject.

"Well, my brother doesn't have email," what with him still living in the 50s, "but sure. What kind of podcast is it?"

[voiceoverdue]

"It's sort of a supernatural adventure therapy thing."

He pondered. "We could print a copy of the picture so you could mail it?"

[tigerundercover]

"We can do that?" Yep, no one had gotten around to showing Raven a printer. "Can I make a copy to hang on my wall?"

[voiceoverdue]

"Yes! Actually, there's places you can buy photo stock so it prints out like a real photograph instead of just soggy white paper." Cecil grinned. "We could print out a photograph, and put it in a frame and everything!"

[tigerundercover]

"Now this is more the future I was hoping for," Raven said. "Though I don't think we need to mail it. He should be coming this weekend."

She really hoped whatever was going on with the atmosphere in Fandom cleared up by then. Charles was incorrigible enough as it was.

"Great!" Cecil cocked his head. "Does he know you go to school in the future?"

[tigerundercover]

Raven nodded. "I don't know how much he believes me just yet," that sort of thing wasn't so commonplace in her world yet, "but I've told him. It's fun hearing him go all jealous when I describe some of the things we have here."

[voiceoverdue]

Cecil grinned. "What can we do to make him really jealous?"

Because apparently his horniness missing of ♥Carlos♥ translated to being ridiculously hyper and mischievous.

"I think just showing him around will do it, really." Sorry, Cecil. Raven wasn't really into redirecting that sexual energy into talking about her brother. "Though pretending that we do have bases on the moon and Mars might help."

[voiceoverdue]

"Are you sure we don't? The government might be covering it up." You never knew.

[tigerundercover]

"Why would the government cover up moon bases? It's not like the soviets are still around to try and steal them."

[voiceoverdue]

Cecil shrugged. "Do they need a reason?"

[tigerundercover]

"People do usually have reasons for what they do. Even government people."

[voiceoverdue]

"I suppose." Did he sound dubious there? He was highly dubious. "I guess I just figure they're mostly inscrutable."
