During class on Wednesday, Kathy and Raven had decided to have a Revengers marathon. They probably wouldn't get through all of them, considering there were almost twenty hours of film to get through, but they could at least watch the first three or four (maybe even five?) without going stir-crazy.

With her only class of the day canceled, Kathy came right back to her room, grabbed her laptop to plug into the TV so they could watch the movies on a decent-sized screen, and put in an order for a ridiculous number of pizzas and sodas to be delivered. They'd need to keep their strength up somehow during the marathon, wouldn't they? Superhero movies, pizza, soda, and Raven was bringing the popcorn--what a great way to start the weekend!

Popcorn and, after a quick run into town -- and a handwavy and precarious interaction with the freaky pink pony -- a large supply of candy as well. It was the start of a summery weekend, gorging themselves on tasty food was pretty much mandatory, right?

She swung by her room to change -- into her natural shape and into actual clothing, so she wouldn't have to concentrate on holding it while they watched, and then headed upstairs to the fifth floor.

"Oh that pizza smells heavenly," she said as she came in. "This really is the best idea."

"Hi!" Kathy's grin grew even wider as she took in Raven's appearance. "Not using your passing privilege today?" she teased, hopping up to offer a hug. "And of course it is, we're brilliant. I didn't know what kind of toppings you liked, so I got a bunch of different ones. Please help yourself."

Even Kathy couldn't eat this much pizza in one sitting.

"All of them," Raven said. "I like all the toppings." She set her offerings down near the pizza and got herself a plate, then flopped down onto the couch. "I am going to relax completely today. Which means no working to hold onto a shape."

Jalian wandered down and smiled when she saw Kathy - then smiled wider when she saw Raven, looking natural, even!

"Hello!" She glanced at the screen curiously. "What are you watching?"

"We're watching the Revengers movies--fun, superhero fluff," Kathy said, pulling on Raven's arm so they could shift over and make room for Jalian on the couch if she wanted. And if the way they had shifted meant that the space in question was right next to Raven, well, that was surely coincidence.

Surely.

"Have you heard about them? They're a pretty popular movie franchise right now, based on a longstanding series of comic books."

Did Jalian mind that the space was next to Raven? Not at all!

"I have heard a little about them." Jalian made a derisive noise. "I tried to watch a movie once. It was only a collection of pictures strung together and made to appear on the screen very fast. Sounds that were not always synchronized came with them. I don't understand the attraction."

"Hi, Jalian," Raven greeted once her mun's work calmed down enough for her to notice the thread. "Come have some popcorn! I have some with butter and some with just salt, and some with chocolate on it."

"Hello." Jalian smiled as she sat. "I probably can't eat the chocolate, but maybe the butter one?"

"Jalian," Hanna greeted her, wandering forward with a can of soda in hand. "How are your classes progressing?"

Velcro peered out of her hair and purred.

"I have the outdoors class and driving." Jalian grinned. "Very fun! What are yours?" She laughed at Velcro and reached to rub his head. "You seem to have a passenger."

Ringo came in later in the afternoon, a pair of ATs dangling from one hand because of course she'd been riding.

"What are we watching?" she asked, bouncing in place with a grin. Movies were fun, and there was hanging-out food, too, so she was definitely joining in!

"The Revengers franchise!" Kathy said, giving Ringo a wave. "Have you seen any of them? We're about two movies in, but they're the ones that came out years ago!"

For a couple of seconds Ringo just watched the screen with a frown of concentration, then she shook her head. At least she didn't recognize the one on the screen at the moment. "I don't think I have. But they're good?" That was why they were watching them, right?

"Superheroes!" Raven said. "Well, we're watching it when we're not too busy gorging on food, anyway." She was hiding it well, but she was a bit nervous about a new person coming in and seeing her all in her blue glory, before she'd even met her in her blonde disguise. "Hi. I'm Raven."

Ringo wasn't trying to be rude, but she did find herself blinking in surprise when she realized that the blue wasn't makeup or a costume or anything. But then she remembered that she'd met, well, whatever Pinkie Pie was. That made a lot more things seem normal.

She hoped that she hadn't been staring while her brain tried to catch up with that thought. Or at least not staring too long.

"Hi, Raven!" Ringo grinned. "My name's Ringo." She looked over the food, and her grin grew wider. "And it sounds like you're doing it right. Food first, movie second, right?"

It was probably a little sad that Kira could tell what they were watching just from the sound of it, but the sound was what got her into the common room and grinning at everyone. "Hi! Is there room for one more?"

"Maaaaaaaaaaybe," Kathy said, waving Kira in at the same time she said so. "First, you have to tell me who your favorite Revenger is. I've already claimed the Commander's hot, amnesiac boyfriend and the trickster god, so I'm hoping you favor someone else!"

"You can have the Commander's boyfriend, I want the Commander," Kira said. "He's so good and nice but he'll also beat up anyone who messes with you. And his butt is amazing in every version of that uniform."

"We will make room even if we have to pack in like sardines," Raven said, shifting over on the couch -- and then having to adjust her flannel pajama pants to keep them from riding up weird.

Real clothing was awkward as hell.

Hanna waved over to Kira when she saw her, and kept Velcro from trying to attach himself to Kira's hair. "Hello. I haven't seen you for a while."

Hanan wandered into the common room later in the day, Velcro attached to her shoulder. "What are these movies?"

Guess who hadn't had time to visit any movie theaters, ever.

"Superhero flicks!" Kathy called, bouncing a little in her seat. Sorry, couchmates, but Kathy was riding the sugar and caffeine high. She would be literally bouncing off the walls soon. "Come for the explosions, stay for the debate over which Revenger is the hottest!"

Hanna giggled slightly, and picked up a bottle of soda for herself, settling in on the back of the couch. "Is there a plot I should be worried about?"

"The Revengers!" Raven said, waving. "Group of super-powered people over come their petty differences to join forces and save the world a lot!"
