Third Floor Common Room, Sunday evening

Andy had got back to Fandom after another visit with his brother (who was getting a little clingy Andy thought, but hadn't been able to bring himself to say to anyone) that afternoon and unpacked. He was sorry he'd missed the welcome picnic the day before but brother. Clingy. Really, he was going to have to do something about that, but since the new term was about to start and he'd have the excuse of classes to stay put for a while he felt he had some breathing room.

But he still was hoping to socialize and meet some of the new people so he made himself comfortable in the common room, with some munchies, and turned on the tv. Tonight was the season finale of The Amazing Race and even if no one else showed, he'd have a nice relaxing night unwinding and seeing who won.

5th Floor Common Room, Sunday Afternoon

Even with the excursions home and to London, the week on the near-empty island had felt too long. Jack was more than ready to see his friends again as he settled into the common room. He was paging through one of his history books, but he kept getting distracted by the meta Scrubs marathon on TV. The characters were bizarre, annoying ... and incredibly funny.

[OCO; Open CR!]

Dorm roof, late afternoon

After class, Andy grabbed some essentials and headed up to the roof for a good long think. It wasn't brooding, not really, even if that's entirely what it looked like.

And Andy was hoping that a joint or two would, if not make him forget his troubles, at least make them seem less important for a while. He was fully prepared to remain stoned for as long as it took for that to happen.

[ooc: for one in particular, but open as all open things are]

The Roof; Saturday Afternoon

There were several ways to indicate fall was upon you. Changing leaves, of course, would be the obvious one. You could look at a calendar, which was just a boring way to do it. Or you could check to see if Chuck Bass was wearing his trademark scarf. Which he was. It truly was the greatest time of the year.

Yep, scarf around his neck and a joint in one hand, Chuck was laid back in a chair reading Les Liaisons dangereuses for about the tenth time. It was the only way he could keep his French in check without, you know, actually going to France.

[Look, it was nippy when I went to go get the mail earlier. I declare it fall. Post is open, of course]

4th Floor Common Room - Friday Evening

Pretty much the best part of this week was that it was it was over.  Also that there had been teddy bear samurai/ninha fighting in History today  That was awesome.

Beyond that?  Total loss of a week, and Rose was watching it go out to the backdrop of a Project Runway marathon.

...not that she was interested in the show of course.  Just that there wasn't anything else on.  Really.

[*mods the teevee omg as my sad lack of cable means I'm watching yesterday's ep today*]

Third floor common room, Sunday afternoon

Andy was sprawled on the sofa with a cold drink and the book Sam had reccomended to him on Thursday. It was a pleasant enough way to spend an afternoon, but he couldn't help but wonder if he could get away with lighting up in here or if he'd actually have to motivate himself to go somewhere else if he wanted to smoke some weed.

So far he hadn't decided to put it to an actual test.

Yet.

Third Floor Common Room, Tuesday evening

Andy felt in need of an evening of tv and munchies, surprisingly without an afternoon of smoking preceeding it. So he was sitting on the couch with a large array of candy and chips spread out around him, flipping through channels and looking for something that would hold his interest for more than few minutes.
