Third Floor Common Room, Tuesday evening

Andy felt in need of an evening of tv and munchies, surprisingly without an afternoon of smoking preceeding it. So he was sitting on the couch with a large array of candy and chips spread out around him, flipping through channels and looking for something that would hold his interest for more than few minutes.

Claire hadn't really been very sociable the last few days, so she finally decided to drag herself down to the common room.

"Hi," she said. "Watching anything good?"

"Not yet," Andy said, then looked up and froze. Hello, hot girl. "Hi."

"I'm Claire," she said, heading for the fridge. "Hmm, do omelets make an acceptable dinner?"

The number of classes she could take meant that, as much as Bob had tried, there was still one day she didn't have a class. Yay, Tuesdays!

And yay common rooms! Today it was the third floor.

Elle wandered in and flopped down on a couch.

And another hot blonde. If he knew this was what the common rooms were like, he'd have decided to hang out here earlier.

"Hi," Elle said, giving him a finger-wiggly wave of one hand. "I'm Elle."

"Hey, Elle," Claire waved and grinned at the other girl. "How's the new semester treating you so far?"

"Not bad," Elle said with a grin in return. "Of course, all I've had so far is Sex Ed with Mr. Bond."

Chuck was fresh from the roof so, naturally, a stop to the kitchen for cookies was necessary. He grunted a hello when he came into the common room.

Well. It might've been a hello.

It was a noise for sure.

She gave him a cheerful wave.

Chuck definitely remembered this girl's name. Really, he did. If he hadn't been high then it would have come to him sooner.

"Elle." There we go! "You're looking lovely today."

Ah, still smooth.

If there was one thing Andy could recognize, it was the after effects of a little smoking. "Good stuff?" he asked. Always helped to know what the local supply was like.

"Nothing but the best for me," Chuck said, flopping down into an arm chair. He had eaten a cookie and a half before he realized something. "Hey, I don't know you."

Sam wanted to grab something to eat before he went to see the play, and figured the common room would be the best place to look first. When he noticed that someone else was already there, Sam glanced over to see if it was someone he knew, and stopped in his tracks. The guy looked strangely familiar, and after a few more moments, Sam realized it was the guy from his weird dream. Staring might not have been appropriate, but it was all he could really do.

Andy looked back at the really tall kid who was staring at him. "Do I have something on my face or something?"

Claire noticed Sam staring. "Sam? You okay?" she asked.

"You and I should be friends," Jaime declared when he spotted the junk food.

Andy grinned at the other boy. "Never can have too many friends. I'm Andy."

Third floor was not the second floor, but K-Mart was wandery. Plus the lure of junk food was strong. She swiped a bag of chips and tucked herself into a chair.

Andy eyed the newcomer. "Help yourself," he said belatedly.

Diana, with cat, was following the sound of television. "Ooooh, candy."

"Yep. Help yourself." Andy noticed the cat. "Who's your friend?"

Elle wandered in, totally having in mind to make muffins for her campaign, but oh, lots of people.

"Hi!" she waved cheerfully with a little bounce, and her 'Let Me Serve You' t-shirt appreciated her for it.
