Faith stared into Angelus's emotion-filled eyes and leaned closer to him. "I thought I'd never see you again," she said in an almost-whisper.

"I would never leave you," Angelus vowed. He leaned in closer still, looking as though he knew better, yet could not resist. When he spoke, the word was a soft and aching sigh. "Buffy..."

"Angel," Faith said, and kissed him tenderly and slowly. She lightly touched his cheek, deepening the kiss.

Angelus held still for a moment as though not daring to move. Then with a sudden rush he wrapped his arms around Buffy Faith her and kissed her back passionately. The music his pants his heart swelled to be so close to his one true love, and to be allowed to touch her.

Faith reacted to the kiss, kissing him harder for a moment and then, suddenly, pulling away.
"No..no, we can't do this," she said, almost in tears. "It's wrong."
