"I've no clue," she mused, eyeing the icebin where Ed had retrieved her bottled drink from, having finished it by now. "But if it ends up as successful as this did, I guess it wouldn't be that awful." She pursed her lips. "Hang on, I'ma go get another one of those drink things." She slid off the arm of the couch and to the bar, digging into the previously mentioned icebin to extract another bottle. She then wandered back to the couch, sitting on it for a moment before sliding off the arm -- purposely -- and onto the cushions. "I promise I won't hit you in the head with the cap this time." She snickered, unearthing her necklace again to use as a bottle opener.

Fortuantely for him, the bottle cap did not wing itself at his forehead. "I'm really impressed by how many people here have battle experience of any kind," he muttered, glancing around. "Although, I do know now that I'm terrified of some of the teachers. And the librian is a loony, but a really cool sword-swinging loony."

"Yeah, I'm kind of surprised, too. I enrolled here thinking it'd be a normal school -- pshh, I was wrong." She snickered. "So far I've been lucky enough to have more dealings with wierd students and rabid books--" she nudged him with her elbow "--than any teachers. Although Jareth is still pretty strange." She then laughed at him for calling the librarian a sword-swinging loony. "Edward, are you drunk?" she asked, grinning and trying not to crack up.

Then he looked slightly offended. "Me, drunk? Not yet, I'm not!
But I'm well on my way!"no subject
She raised her eyebrows, still grinning. "Oh? You're losing consonants."

Edward sank a little further into the couch. "'S been quite th' weekend. At least we got t'morrow off too."

"Go to sleep," she leaned away a little, leaning back on the arm of the couch. "You've done more zombie-killing than I have, you should be tired." She grinned somewhat cattishly at him. "And I'm not hallucinating, either." she added, fixing him with a marginally pouty glare. She set her empty bottle just beside the arm of the couch on the floor so it was out of the way of people's feet.
