Second Floor Common Room (still hangover survivors' mecca)

Rory glanced at the TV, and then around at the multitude of bored, hungover faces.

"Hey, we should play a game," she proposed lazily from her chair. "Like, one where I don't have to move. Truth or Dare, anyone?"

"Oh, ow." Anders grimaces. "You got ice on that, I hope? I know all about bruises, I used to get 'em all the time."

He jerks his head shortly in Kara's direction, but doesn't look at her. "Back when I was training with her."

"It doesn't hurt that bad," Angela says. "I don't bang myself up that often, so I didn't think of ice. Would it still do any good?"

She rubs her forehead. "I don't think I knew you trained with Kara. What sport do you guys play?"

"We did play Pyramid, this game from our home world." Anders shoots a glare at Kara, then looks back at Angela. "Before she got hurt, that is. I mean, I still play, and I just got accepted into the pro leagues back home even though I'm not gonna join up until after college. But some frakkin' idiots decided to just give up even though they're healing at an incredibly awesome rate for that type of injury."

"Mmm," Angela responds, echoing the glance to Kara. It's clear this is an ongoing discussion that she doesn't really need to be in the middle of. Instead, she smiles at Anders. "That's so cool, that you'll play professionally when you get home."

"Yeah, it is." He grins. "Got part of my signing bonus up front, too, which is why I got a chance to get really cool Christmas presents for people. Which reminds me, I don't think I gave you yours, so if you stop by sometime I can get it to you."
