Second Floor Common Room (still hangover survivors' mecca)

Rory glanced at the TV, and then around at the multitude of bored, hungover faces.

"Hey, we should play a game," she proposed lazily from her chair. "Like, one where I don't have to move. Truth or Dare, anyone?"

[ooc: Open to anyone either in the common room already or just passing through. The other post is just omg almost 500 comments as it is. :)]

"And Jack has me. And thus understands these kind of things." Parker gets to her feet, brushes off a few crumbs, and smiles at Archie again. "Lieutenant? After all this trauma, can you still find it in your heart to escort me to my room? Please?"

"Far be it from me to deny a lady," says Archie, getting to his feet. "However, certain matters do need to be attended to first, if you don't mind."

He walks over to Jaye and kisses her soundly on the lips before holding his arm out to Parker. "Mind you, I'll have to come right back, if that's all right."

Blink.

Rory cheers.

"I win at everything."

"Cally and Anders are still doing it. A lot."

"You have a boyfriend!" Rory exclaims.

"I have a fuckbuddy!" Parker calls over her shoulder.

Rory, having lost her faith in Cally and Anders' innocence, latches onto "Jack-is-Parker's-boyfriend" as her new deepest, most true belief.

Pouting, but a good sport, Parker says, "Understood, Lieutenant. 'Night, everyone." She takes his arm and leans against him just a little.

Hey, girl's gotta get her jollies somewhere.

"238, was it?" asks Archie with a smile. "So far down the hall. A lot can happen between here and there."

"236. But who's counting?" she asks in return, looking at him through her eyelashes.

"I am, actually, if I'm to commit it to memory," he replies smoothly, leading the way out the door. "236 it is, and have I thanked you yet for the honor?"

"No, you haven't. So kind of you to do so," she says, smiling flirtatiously. "I know you were kind of muscled into it. I'm glad you responded with such-- verve?" She trails one finger down to his wrist, and lets it linger there.

"My New Year's resolution is to not do things halfway," he says, watching with a knowing grin as she runs her finger down his arm. "And really, how could I disappoint you, particularly in front of witnesses?"

"A true gentleman never *does* disappoint a lady," Parker said, giving his hand a squeeze, then sighing. "Well, here's my door. I know you have to go back for Jaye." She paused, and lowered her eyelashes. "And if it wouldn't be too much of an imposition...." She raised an eyebrow, asking without asking.

"An imposition?" Archie feigned shock for a brief moment. "Hardly an imposition at all, I should say. Certainly more of a temptation, perhaps. And I am a weak man."

He swept her into another kiss, this one perhaps a bit less showy than the last but certainly no less sincere. "A very pleasant evening to you, Miss Parker," he said, giving her a bow and a kiss on the hand as well.

Parker blinked, got her breath back and shook herself, warm all over, and smiled back. "Thank you, Lieutenant. For not resisting at all."

She took a second to watch him leave, appreciating the view, then went into her room, humming. Mmmmmmmmm!
