2nd floor hallway, evening

Angel was out in the 2nd floor hallway.

In theory he was going back to his room after taking Sean for a walk.

In reality he was standing in front of one of the many, many campaign posters that had his name on it and was trying to tear it down.

He might be heard to mutter words about really strong tape, and dire thoughts about someone whose name rhymed with Doreen.

Definetly chuckling now. "I'd offer my posters to cover those up but...too funny."

"Tell him he'd be good at it, Alanna. Even if you don't believe it." She poked Angel in the side again. "Oh, and I love the rhyming one. I have to do one of those."

Parker slapped at his hands, then fixed the tape on the poster. "We had a deal, dufus. Did you forget? I blackmailed you! Pay attention!"

"Okay, first of all: ow." Angel waved his hand in the air to help with the sting. "Second: This is campus beautification."

"One: Wuss. Two: don't tell me about campus beautification, I invented the phrase to cover up alien landing pads." She poked him in the side. "Or do you want me to just spill all information to interested parties? Hmm?"

"You have nails!" Angel said, defensively. "And I never said I'd run eagerly. Or help."

"I'm new around here, but I'm betting there's something barring people from destroying campaign materials."

Josh, his backpack slung over his shoulder, leaned against a wall and looked at the three students. "Or doing the backstroke, for that matter. This place is a little odd."

"That's like saying the pool's a little filled with squid," Angel replied. "Though I guess even that's not true anymore."

"Although for all we know it's just invisible." Parker tilted her head, studying the new adult. "Excuse the squabbling. He's trying to back out. Tell him he can't, I already did advertising!"

Josh raised his eyebrows. "The pool used to be filled with squid? Should I ask what happened to the squid? Do I even want to know?"

He scrubbed his hands through his hair. "The brochure for this place left out a few of the highlights, apparently."

Angel looked in that direction. "Huh. Maybe a friend for DEATH's pet."

"Okay. How big is her suite, that she gets to keep a *horse*?"

"Why not?" Parker nods slowly. "It could do that." She palmed her face. "I will never hold a normal conversation off this island again, will I?"
