"Thank you," Parker said to Alanna, then pointed to her. "See? I'm not the only one that thinks you have an obligation." To Alanna she added, "Try the spring rolls, I think they're excellent."

"Chinese and Vietnamese. Rolled in lettuce and rice paper. They've got vegetables and I think shrimp in there, with spices." She cocked her head. "I never thought to ask, but I assume Trebond is more meat-and-potatos."
