The TV is turned to Vanessa Saturn, in case you want to just watch TV and not talk to people.

Angel stared at the sign.

He stared at the sign a long time.

"Trying to celebrate diversity with appetizers, Parker?"

"Why not? It's not like I can get alien hors d'ouvres. Or ones from the past." She grinned from her perch on the back of the couch. "Glad to see you're here, doing your part to make yourself available to the student population, Wings."

"Best way in my opinion." Alanna came into the room, Faithful on her shoulder. She was a bit out of breath from being in the gym for the past few hours.

Janet headed in, waved to Angel, and made straight for the chocolate fondue.

"How's it going?" she asked, once her plate was loaded with chocolate-covered food. And a couple of spring rolls with plum sauce so she could be healthy too.

Angela ambles down to the second floor and selects two spring rolls from the buffet. She bites into one daintily as she waves to Parker, Alanna and Angel.

Parker waved back, smiling. "So you got the note?"

Peter walked into the common room, glanced at the sign, glanced around, and waved to his fellow StuCo members. He wasn't quite in the mood for hanging out with people, but even more than that he really didn't want to do any homework tonight. That's what Thursdays were for.

So he sucked it up, grabbed some pretzels, and went in to mingle.

"Hey, Petey Boy. Congrats!" Parker waved from beside the chocolate fondue. "You ready to accomplish great things, or at least plan another dance?"

Wandering down from the third floor Callisto nabbed a handful of pretzels. "Evening, Parker."

"Hey, Callisto. I heard there was some excitement at Caritas a couple nights ago?" Parker asked, taking a sip of her drink. "Go, you. Sort of."

Isabel walked into the common room. "Oh Chocolate!" She dipped a marshmallow into the fondue and then grabbed a seat on the couch.

"Try it with the strawberries, they're excellent," Parker suggested with a grin. "Glad you could make it."

Peter figured that today wasn't the day for questions he probably needed to ask. Today was the day for congratulating his running mate. "Hey, Isabel," Peter said, walking over. "Congrats. And thanks for helping me get elected."

Sharon bounced into the common room, brain filled with all of the crap stuff she'd learned during the day. "Ooh. Chocolate!" She grabed a handful of pretzels and a cup of chocolate fondue for dipping purposes.

Pippi walks into the room after the Self-Defense thingy in the Gym.

"Hi!" She said grabbing a handful of Pretzels.

Cameron sticks his bruised AGAIN face in the common room. "Yo, Parkie!" He shouts and throws her a chocolate cake, hoping she'll catch it. "Congrats!" He says as he pulls back already to go be sore in his room.

Angela waves to Cameron. "Hey, haven't seen you in a couple days," she calls. Then, as he retreats: "And I guess I won't see you today, eigher. Night."

Archie, in quite the good mood, feels he should demonstrate that he's not at all bitter about losing the StuCo race, so he strolls cheerfully into the common room.

"Good evening, everyone."

Jaye has to pass by while sticking up flyers, just to wave at Archie and grin like an idiot some more. Then she's back on her way.
