Second Floor Common Room - Molly's Birthday Party [7:30ish FHT]

The common room had been decorated with streamers of pink and white.

There were pools of bright pink and silver glitter littering the tables.

There was one table with a cake, snacks and beverages, and another with a small sign saying "Presents" on it.

You know the drill.

[Going up supah early because I am going AFK soonishly and also there are time zone issues.]

As Aeryn's really only seen Anakin in classes, she can finally actually go up to him and say, "Glad to see you're back."

Anakin gave her a rueful smile. "About the same. Home was pretty bad," he said, hand going up to touch the scar on his cheek that had almost faded away, "and here, well, has had its moments."

"I hadn't expected to be gone either," Anakin said, running a hand through his hair. "Emergency back home." He pressed his lips together. "Someone decided that kidnapping a Jedi would be a good idea. I had to dissuade them of that notion."

"Yeah, definitely something to be avoided," he said. "So are lightsabers to the leg, but I don't see that being something that will happen to anyone but me." He rolled his eyes. "Turns out I'm not quite as quick as I needed to be."

Anakin nodded. "I'll take you up on that," he said quietly, eyes focusing on Rory and Victor (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhighdorms/518689.html?thread=25891873#t25891873) speaking together.

His forehead wrinkled in concern as he watched Rory move towards the door. "Excuse me," he said with a small smile, then walked across the room.
