Second Floor Common Room - 7:30 FHT

The common room was decorated much more elaborately than normal for birthday parties, since it was supposed to be six times the party, after all.

Thre were drinks, and snacks, and cake for all, and a table for presents.

Happy birthday, Aeryn, Anakin, Isabel, Angela Peter and Archie.

"That's great," Angela enthused. "So he was happy with how you're doing at school and everything?"

Anakin nodded. "Seemed to be." He beamed. "Said my lightsaber work was good, too. He brought me a second 'saber so I can work on dual-bladed forms. They are very cool."

"That's awesome," Angela said. "Do you use one in each hand, or hold them both in one hand?"

"One in each hand," Anakin said. "Once I get better at it, you want to see how it works?"

"Sure," Angela said, trying to picture it in her mind. "If you have enough time for that before graduation, and everything."

"I'm trying to get the Council to let me stay through the summer--Obi-Wan had mentioned some very boring negotiations that I'd rather skip if at all possible." He glanced quickly over at where Rory was taking pictures, then back to Angela. "Stay here a little longer."

"They try to be reasonable about things," Anakin said. "Hopefully they'll be reasonable in my favor."

"It has to go your way once in a while, right?" Angela said. "Though it must suck not knowing for sure."

Anakin gave Angela a small smile. "It has to break my way once in a while, right? And though they don't mention it, I think they kind of enjoy having me in a different galaxy. Fewer headaches."
