5th floor Commonroom: Saturday Afternoon (After cheer practice)

Pippi had intended to make breakfast this morning, but she slept in and had cheer practice.

So, pancakes for lunch.

The tele is on...

We're Immature Radioactive Samurai Slugs
We love to thrash criminals and slice 'n' dice thugs!
We're totally radical, gnarly dudes,
Cowabunga homeboys with nothin' to lose ...

Our arch-enemies want us iodized
But they can't beat us 'cause we're merchandised!

(Iodizer: "DESTROY THEM!!")

Count off!

    Picasso!
    Warhol!
    Rockwell!
    Grandma Moses!

So kick back, dweebs, it's the end of our rhyme,
The show's gonna start and it's time to slime!

Peter made a face. "That's how Mum did it. I think." He tried again, much more gently and was able to get the egg into the bowl this time. Fishing out a few pieces of shell, he grinned back at Pippi. "No, I can handle this part. And I'm completely sure I wouldn't be able to flip them."

Peter cracked another egg and got most of it into the bowl. "Setsuna and I finally got a real salle established this week for swordwork. I've been a bit too excited about that most of the week."

[identity profile] once-a-king.livejournal.com 2006-06-24 07:18 pm (UTC)(link)
"I think so," Peter replied. "Though it's going to need a better name than Sword Club."

[identity profile] once-a-king.livejournal.com 2006-06-24 07:23 pm (UTC)(link)
"True," Peter admitted with a laugh. "Very, very true. 'Sword Club' is just so...flippant though. One shouldn't be flippant with weapons."

[identity profile] once-a-king.livejournal.com 2006-06-24 07:31 pm (UTC)(link)
"That's the problem," Peter replied. "I have no other ideas. It'll probably end up being called 'Sword Club' in the end through my complete lack of inspiration."

[identity profile] once-a-king.livejournal.com 2006-06-24 07:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Peter grinned. "True that. Though I prefer a longsword myself."

[identity profile] once-a-king.livejournal.com 2006-06-24 07:46 pm (UTC)(link)
"Indeed," Peter said with a nod. "I think it led to a pirate joke last time, so I'll restrain myself now."

[identity profile] once-a-king.livejournal.com 2006-06-24 07:55 pm (UTC)(link)
"I can't use up all my material at once," Peter protested. "This is a long summer, you know."

[identity profile] once-a-king.livejournal.com 2006-06-24 08:06 pm (UTC)(link)
"It does, of course," Peter said. "But even the finest ink runs dry if it's overused."

[identity profile] once-a-king.livejournal.com 2006-06-24 08:17 pm (UTC)(link)
"Indeed?" Peter asked with a grin. "I've not seen him around lately."

[identity profile] once-a-king.livejournal.com 2006-06-24 08:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Peter shook his head. "You definitely should take him out for a ride. Mind if I come watch? It's been too long since I was around a horse."

[identity profile] once-a-king.livejournal.com 2006-06-24 08:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Peter shrugged. "My guardian asked me not too. My brother's making sure he's exercised and such at home. I can't imagine he'd be too happy here. He's used to so much more space. I suppose it's for the best." He grinned. "But I accept your offer whole-heartedly."

[identity profile] once-a-king.livejournal.com 2006-06-24 09:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Peter laughed. "You don't think the administration would be displeased by a pair of frolicing horses in the Park?"
