Pangolin Campfire [Monday Evening]

Bridge has tacked a large white bedsheet to the wall of Koala cabin that faces the Pangolin campfire. RIC is nearby, in DVD-player mode, with the second season of Twilight Seraphim loaded and ready to play. There's snack foods, and, of course, s'more fixings, for sharing if anyone else cared to join him.

"Hello Walter," Stark said with a wave.

"Hey, Stark, how are things for you?" Walter was a little self-conscious about letting Stark see him so beaten up, since it seemed to be how he always saw the other fellow. "What workshops are you taking?"

"Better than with you, I think," Stark said with a frown. "What happened? Unless you'd rather not say," he added. "I'm taking Arts and Crafts, Constant Vigilance, and Photography. You?"

"Werewolves are not as easy to deal with as movies make you think," Walter said to answer. "And my employer signed me up for Music, First Aid, Stealth, and Wilderness Survival."

"Werewolves?" Stark shook his head. He wasn't entirely sure about werewolves, but they sounded bad. "Have you had any of your workshops yet? Arts and Crafts was this morning. That was good. We made popsicle stick people. I'm not sure why..."

"I had music this afternoon. Lucas, the owner of Empire Records, is teaching it. I think I learned that I like drums, but that's might be all I really get from it."

Stark nodded. "Drums are good. Is it interesting at least?"

"I suppose. And Lucas is a nice guy. It's just." He shrugged one shoulder. "He's my girlfriend's boss, and it's a bit odd."

"Oh. That could be awkward," Stark said with a nod.

"And you? What are you doing when you aren't working in the clinic and going to workshops?"

Stark shrugged. "Um. Nothing really. But then I do that a lot. Nothing. What are you doing besides fighting werewolves?"

"Workshops, girlfriend, work. The occasional bits of getting into trouble. The usual for your average time-displaced vampire hunting British butler," Walter answered with a bit of a grin.

"Your usual sounds much busier than mine. Much busier," Stark said, nodding. "Good trouble though, yes? The fun kinds?"

"Usually the fun kinds. Sometimes the get shot and end up in the clinic kinds."

Stark shook his head. "Should try and avoid those kinds more. I'd much rather see you out of the clinic."

"I don't like spending time there, either. Not that you aren't good company when I've had to be there, but-" he shrugged. "You understand."

Stark nodded. "I do. I don't think anyone likes spending time there. Well, not when they're hurt anyway."
