2nd Floor Common Room [Saturday Afternoon]

After recieving textmessages from Xander updating him on the situation- and the fact that everyone was going to be confined to dorms tonight- Bridge decided to venture out of 121 and up to the second floor common room. He's got the TV on and is sort of half-paying attention to it. Mostly it's just there to drown out the eerie quietness.

Rory walked over and offered him a whiteboard and a black marker.

Need it? she wrote on her own, holding it up.

Anakin nodded, giving her a small smile.

Rory wrote, Was worried about you and held it up so he could see before erasing it very quickly.

Anakin reached for his board and scrawled ditto before erasing it.

What have you heard he began before frowning and erasing "heard."

What do you know about what's going on? he wrote instead.

Xander says told somehow conveyed to Bridgey that it's demons she wrote. No one can talk. Not even Faithful, according to Alanna.

Xander typed something to us about monsters and cutting out hearts Anakin made a face and wiped the board.

Wish I could do something.

Rory looked much less pleased with the silence, suddenly.

We're safe in here, though, right?

Anakin caught the shift in Rory's emotions and shifted a little closer.

Wouldn't let anything hurt you, he wrote, then erased it quickly.

Rory gave him a small smile and wrote I know. But it can't even get to us, right?

Nope, Anakin wrote. He didn't actually know that, but that had never stopped him before.

Rory paused, and then in very tiny writing, wrote, Will you stay with me and make sure they don't get me? and erased it almost immediately.

Anakin gave her a reassuring smile. Of course.

This is frustrating she wrote, frowning.

Anakin nodded, then grinned.

He gave her a small smile. Want to play *actual* Scrabble?

Be right back, Anakin promised, getting up and disappearing from the common room.

He returned with the Scrabble board and his banthabell in case he needed to get everyone's attention.

Incorrectly, since he'd never actually played before.
