Fourth Floor Common Room: Thursday Night

After coming back from Pizza Planet, Blair took a seat on the floor in the common room and started copying his notes for Marie. He was humming a song quietly and munching on a slice of pizza.

Skif smelled food. He popped into the common room and watched Blair for a long moment. "What's that?" He pointed at the pizza.

Blair paused and looked up. "The pizza? It's pizza."

"What's pizza?" Skif asked, all curiosity as he moved quickly and quietly to Blair's side.

"Newbie," Jaye greets him.

"Newbie?" Skif asked with a blink.

"Hey, new kid," Z said. "I'm Z. Name, rank, and serial number."

"Hi, Z." Skif waved. "I'm Skif."

Jaye's got some time to kill and there's activity in her common room. "Next time you bring enough to share with the class," she says, flopping into a chair.

"You pay for it and I'll deliver it to your door." Blair replied happily. "How are you, Jaye?"

She shrugs. "Been worse. Also, if I have to pay for it, don't expect a tip."

"Hullo," Evie said, waving to the girl she didn't know. "Is it all right if I'm in this common room, and not my own?"

Jaye shrugs. "Well, they might give you detention, but as long as you avoid the cell full of scorpions, you should be fine."

Seely wandered into the common room. "Blair, how's it going man?"

"Seely! Hi! I heard you on the radio! You used my nickname! I'm totally not on drugs!" Blair bounced.

Jaye is refusing awkwardness, so she gives a wave.

Evie waved to the new boy from her space next to Blair. "Hullo. Are you new or old?"

Evie had been intimidated by all the noise and photography going on in the Fifth Floor Common Room, so she'd made her way down one flight to the Fourth, waving to Blair as she came in. "Hello, Big Brother."

"Hey there, Little Sister." Blair smiled and patted the floor nearby. "Come and tell me how your day went?"

Z wandered into the common room, clutching the user manual for her synthetron and a Sirian-to-English dictionary. She'd planned to begin translating the darn thing, but she was more than happy to be distracted, which was probably why she'd headed upstairs when her own common room proved less than hopping.

"Good evening, fourth floor people!"

"Z!" Jaye greets her. "Why do you have books? No books until classes start. New rule."

"I'm a fifth floor person, but hullo," Evie said, then worriedly asked, "They don't *really* give you Detention for nothing do they? Or for being in the wrong Common Room?"
