Outside the Danger Room, 7th period

Holding a large stick with a piece of poster board attached wasn't the easiest thing to do with one hand. Which meant that Blair's big protest sign today spent a lot of time leaning on the walk next to him when his arm got too achy.

He felt bad though and intermittently would call out the sign's message loudly. "Give Peace a Chance!"

Bel sighed. "All right. But I'm not putting on the kid gloves."

"I wouldn't suggest it, man." Blair sighed. "Just treat her the way you want to be treated. That's good enough."

"Uh, if I hurt Phoebe I'd want to be vanquished," Bel said. "I don't think you want me to do that to River."

"Not so much, man." Blair shook his head. "Let's save the vanquishing for...actually, let's not save the vanquishing for anyone. I think we should have a vanquish-free society."

"Except for evil demons," Bel said. "They still deserve it."

Blair started humming a peaceful song.

Bel snickered. "I'd better get into class," he said. "Ghost slaying to do today."

"Do adequately, man!" Blair said with a smile.

Bel gave Blair a little wave and headed into the danger room.
