Outside Hunting Class, 7th period

Lurking outside hunting class is a rawhead, a monster covered in dark matted hair and holding a sign that says 'I can be your friend!'. The costume is convincing, but if you watch the rawhead long enough you might be able to see it bounce.

Blair grinned under the mask and gave another small bounce. The costume had come in yesterday and luckily it was big enough that he could wear it over his cast. He practiced his growls and grunting while he waited for the students to show up. "Grrrr. GRRRR! Grrr."

Nadia raised an eyebrow. "If I go look up rawheads, is that what I'm going to find out?"

"Grr. The Man might have snuck something in there about drowning naughty kids." Blair growled. "Just ignore it."

"Uh huh. Remember what I said about the Man sometimes just being a scapegoat?"

Nadia shook her head. Sometimes it was like things went in one ear and out the other. "I'm pretty sure that rawheads probably don't reward children, do they."

"That's what it said in the books." Blair tried digging in the pocket of his suit for a moment but the rubber hand wasn't cooperating.

"I've got a reward for you if you'll put your hand in my pocket."

"You sound like a creepy old guy who wants to have sex with kids."

"Ew!" Blair flailed. "That's really gross, Nadia. I was talking about candy!"

Nadia crossed her arms. "Creepy old guys who want to have sex with kids promise kids candy, too."

"I don't want to have sex with you!" Blair yelled and flailed.

"Why not? Don't you think I'm pretty?!"

Okay . . . Nadia was probably messing with him.

"Those sort of statements probably don't help the rumor about you being slutty."

"You're totally an evil creepy sex-with-kids guy."

Blair glared at Nadia but since he was hidden by the mask, it probably didn't do any good.

Nadia responded to the blank staring by blandly staring back, and raising one eyebrow.

Nadia's eyebrow went up further and she tapped her foot.

"Something you need, man?" Blair attempted to cross his arms over his chest...which didn't work.
