Outside the danger room, 7th period

It was Wednesday so Blair was outside of the danger room holding a sign. After talking to John yesterday and finding out about what he was planning to do this weekend, Blair had gone back to his first sign. Only with a few edits so it now read, 'Winchester = Murder'.

"If I'm not a demon anymore, I'm off their radar," Bel said quietly. "But I'd have to strip my powers."

"I didn't realize that was a possibility, man." Blair said quietly, studying Bel. "Is that something you're thinking of doing?"

"I don't know, it could kill me," Bel said. "I don't know if I can exist as half of what I am. But yeah, kinda thinking about it I guess. Seeing if it's worth the risk. Might make some things easier."

"Bel..." Blair didn't know quite what to say here. "It could seriously kill you?"

"Maybe?" Bel shrugged. "Half of me is demon. If you kill it, is it gonna kill all of me? I don't know."

"Sounds like the opposite of a good idea, man." Blair frowned. "I mean, I'm all for getting you away from the demons for good. But to kill off half of you? I'm not sure about that."

"Might be the only way," Bel said. "As long as I'm still a demon, I'll always be partly evil."

"But you're controlling it, man. I know it's hard, but isn't being hard better than death?"

"I can't control it all the time. I've already proven that," Bel said quietly.

"Then you work harder. We work harder." Blair patted Bel's arm. "I'm sure there's stuff we haven't tried yet."

"Meditating worked before, we could do that again."

"Meditation isn't fast enough," Bel said. "Especially if I'm alone."

"So we find something else. Hypnosis, scent therapy, sticking with you like glue." Blair bounced earnestly. "We're not to the killing you option yet, man. Nowhere close."

"I'm having Phoebe and Piper make a potion if they can," Bel said. "Just in case."

Blair nodded seriously. "Alright, I hear that. Just give us a chance before you go drinking any potions, man."

"Trust me, I'm not eager to do it," Bel said. "I don't know what'll happen, or what I'd be like. It's like...a second to last resort."

"I'm not sure I want to know...but what's the last resort?"

"Vanquishing me," Bel said. "Phoebe and Piper know how."

"Oh." Blair frowned. "I'm sorry, man. Sometimes your life is made of suck."

"Do you want a hug?"

"I'm good," Bel said. "Really."

Blair grinned at Bel and held out his arms, giving a little bounce. "You know what they say about hugs?"

"What?" Bel said warily.

"That a hug a day keeps the-" Blair broke off in mid word and tried to give Bel a hug all sneaky-like.

The attempt was successful. Bel shook his head and gave Blair a quick hug back. "Thanks," he said.

"No problem, man." Blair gave Bel a good squeeze and bounced back. "Although you know you can just ask for one."

"Demons are usually the hugging types," Bel said.
