Main Campfire - Evening

Isabel and Cameron had managed to get the campfire going in the main area. Luckily the weather was a lot clearer than yesterday and things had remained dry. There were several containers with snacks and beverages standing along the side and there was an abundance of marshmallows for people to get through a whole weekend with.

And now it was just a matter of waiting for people to show up and recapture the cabin spirit one last time before fall and winter truly set in.


((Open like an open thing. There were posters up yesterday so there's no excuse for your character not to know about it! Unless, of course, you happen to have a stubborn one who has trouble reading stuff. Ah, aren't you blessed if you do.))

"Mmpph foo?" Blair mumbled out around a mouthful of marshmallow.

Molly tilted her head at him and gave him a questioning look.

"Sorry." Blair finished chewing and swallowed. "That was supposed to be 'how're you?'"

Molly grinned. "I'm good," she said with sincerity. "How about you?"

"I'm great!" Blair bounced happily.

"Classes going well?"

"Yeah, except for being off for a whole week." Blair shook his head. "Willow and I were going to just show up anyway, but Dr. Wilson was cool enough to give us a paper to keep us busy."

Molly giggled. "I forgot we had a whole week off until Friday. I would have been showing up to Dr. Jackson's class on Monday and wondering where everybody else was."

"I didn't know until this week either." Blair grinned. "I would have been right there with you at Dr. Jackson's class."

Molly laughed. "At least we wouldn't have been alone," she said.

"Very romantic." Blair teased before blushing. He sorta forgot that it was Molly that he was talking to for a minute.

Molly gave Blair an exaggerated look of shock. "Why, Blair! What would River say?"

Blair rolled his eyes. "She'd probably have known I was going to say it before I opened my mouth and stopped me."

"Or she'd laugh."

Molly grinned. "At least you don't have to worry about her getting jealous needlessly."

"River's really cool about that sort of thing." Blair nodded. "Not that I go around being all jealousy-inducing or anything."

Molly grinned. "No, you're too nice for that."

Blair grinned and shrugged a little. "I could be a bad guy. Get myself a leather jacket and go around calling people 'dame' or something."

Molly giggled at the mental image. "People will wonder what decade you're from if you call everybody 'dame'," she said.

"Good point." Blair leaned back to think. "Broad? Chick? Babe?"

Molly wrinkled her nose. "How about you get the leather jacket, but skip the bad boy part?"

"Then I'll just be a guy in a leather jacket." Blair grinned. "What's the fun in that?"

"It's a leather jacket," Molly said. "Those are always nice."

"So girls find appeal in the leather jacket without the bad boy attitude?" Blair asked, itching to take out a notebook.

"Oh, sure," Molly said. "Plenty of hero types wear leather too."

Blair eyed Molly warily. "Leather jackets or leather that they wear with tights? Because I'm thinking tights isn't going to do much for my tough guy reputation."
