Delores noted down those names and gave Tyler a slightly wider, more tight-lipped version of the same smile she'd been wearing since she arrived on Monday. "Well now, we're looking to make sure that you students are being properly provided for, of course! Heating units, air conditioning, good solid--" she knocked on the wall "--construction, and of course that certain rules are being followed, can't have minors getting corrupted, that way leads to cocaine addiction and possibly prostitution. Trust me," her smile slipped. "I know." And it was back. "We're here for you, Tyler Durden. To make sure you're getting the best darn experience you can out of this school! Do you mind if I take some pictures for my website?"

"Cocaine?" Tyler asked, momentarily distracted. Then: "You can photograph the room. I don't really like having my picture taken."

"Of course, of course," Delores began snapping pictures, always careful to keep Tyler out of the shot. "Are there any problems you'd like to bring to my attention?"

"Not really," Tyler said, grateful she hadn't asked questions about his camera-shyness. "They do a good job with school upkeep, given there never seem to be janitors around."

"Never?" Delores shook her head. "Well, things certainly look clean. . . . They must employ some very good custodians, then. Why, when I'm at work sometimes it's like I can't turn a corner without tripping over one."

"Maybe the custodians here are ninjas," Tyler suggested. "But yeah, I've never seen one. It's kind of cool."

Delores laughed much more than the joke deserved. "Oh, I like you, Tyler. When you graduate, if you need a job and you're in the Seatle area? Let me know, mmkay?"

"My roommate's from Seattle, kind of," Tyler, who had only halfway been joking, said. "I might get out that way. What do you hire for?"

"Oh, Happy Time works with all kinds of companies, both temp and temp-to-perm. I'm certain I could find you a good fit, somewhere."

Tyler didn't actually want to work in an office again, except ... they were such fun to sabotage.

"Thanks, Ms. Herbig."

"Oh, don't mention it. I like your attitude."
