Lobby - All Day

Peter was down in the lobby bright and early to set up the tables for Prom ticket buying and Prom Court nominations. 

He eyed the glitter worriedly but sprinkled it around the table and over the Venetian masks. 

Then he sat behind the table with a list of juniors and seniors (because heck if he knew what classes people were in) and realised he hadn't asked Willow to Prom yet.  That needed to be remedied.

[OOC: Open for business!  Only Juniors and Seniors can buy Prom tickets though they can bring underclassmen.  Prom Court nominations are open for anyone to vote: students regardless of class.  The handbook has a list of the Juniors and Seniors.]

Willow kissed him back. "Hello, handsome. How are the sales of all things prom tickety?"

"Quite good thus far," Peter replied. "They'll be even better if you'd do me the honour of going with me."

"Yeah, about that," Willow said. "No."

Peter blinked. "I'm sorry?"

"Hear me out!" Willow said, hastily. "And have no doubts about my love for you or my desire to both see you in a tux and then later out of one. But I think I should go with Jamie."

"No," Peter replied instantly. "Why do you want to go with Jamie?"

Willow couldn't help but be a little besmitten at Peter's firm opinion on the subject of her being with other people. She snuggled in closer. "So you can ask Marie. And thus we are sneaky and Jamie and Marie can go to the prom and you and I can go to the prom and no prom rules are broken."

Peter raised an eyebrow. "I'm not entirely certain that's cricket."

"It's... mock-cricket," Willow said. She leaned in to try to place light kisses along his jawline, if he let her. Because she was not above playing dirty to get her way. "Faux cricket. It's an ant who was raised by crickets and fully understands and appreciates cricket culture even if he is not, per se, green or into chirping."

He sighed slightly at the kisses, sliding his hands further around her waist. "It would really make you happy?"

Willow nodded, wrapping her arms around him in turn. "Happy to a level of allowing outfit requests, should you have any."

"I don't need to be bribed," Peter said with the very tiniest edge in his voice. "If you want it, that's enough."

Willow looked sad. "I didn't mean it like a bribe. Just a thank you."

"If your date will allow me a dance - or several - that will be thanks enough," Peter said, playing with a strand of her hair and feeling badly at his reaction.

Willow hugged him, comforting herself as much as him at this point, but she put a brave face on it. "I suspect my date's going to feel very lonely as I spend the whole night with my roomie's companion."

"I hope Jamie won't mind too much," Peter replied with a grin.

"I hope Marie doesn't mind too much," Willow replied, equally grinning. "Normally it's against the rules to poach your friend's date but it's her own fault for going to the prom with someone so irresistable."

Peter laughed. "Your best friend's date even. However shall you make it up to her?" He paused as if struck. "And I hope the bonds of Stickbug Brotherhood can hold."

"Oh! OOOH!" Willow flailed a little, excited at having figured this out. "That's it! It's not cricket, it's stickbug!"

"I'm no sure it's that either," Peter replied with a grin.

"Stickbugs are sort-of kind-of like crickets?" Willow tried, looking cute.

Peter laughed and kissed her. "Mmm, girl logic."

Willow kissed him back. "Crickets are more like stickbugs then they are like pandas?"
