Lobby - All Day

Peter was down in the lobby bright and early to set up the tables for Prom ticket buying and Prom Court nominations. 

He eyed the glitter worriedly but sprinkled it around the table and over the Venetian masks. 

Then he sat behind the table with a list of juniors and seniors (because heck if he knew what classes people were in) and realised he hadn't asked Willow to Prom yet.  That needed to be remedied.

[OOC: Open for business!  Only Juniors and Seniors can buy Prom tickets though they can bring underclassmen.  Prom Court nominations are open for anyone to vote: students regardless of class.  The handbook has a list of the Juniors and Seniors.]

"I...no, I can't imagine, but it certainly seems like it," Peter agreed

He bit his lip and leaned closer as he passed his money over. "What do I do for a prom?" he asked. "It's the first one I've ever heard about."

Peter grinned. "First for me too. But it's like any formal event. Your job is to make sure the lady has fun and her beauty is properly set off. So do whatever she likes. And find out what colour her dress is, don't clash with it, and bring her flowers or a corsage that matches."

Luke nodded. "And hope we don't go black and white again, huh?"

"I don't know I liked that a bit," Peter replied. "It was like the films at home when I was a kid."

Luke thought about it. "There's that," he admitted. He pointed to the masks on the table, "but I think we'd lose a lot of the appreciation of the decorations."

"True," Peter agreed. "I think we're going to have a mask making party one evening if people really want to get into the spirit of it."

"Are they traditional?" Luke asked.

"The Prom's theme is 'Venice' which is a city over in Italy. And the masks are traditional for there," Peter explained.

Luke nodded, then picked up the tickets. "Thanks!" he said.
