Flag Football, Camp Gym - 10am

John had the gym all set up for the first real Flag Football practice.  He hoped people had gotten their voicemails or heard the radio broadcast (but not the Bo Peep bit).

John had set up a table with more copies of his handout.  Two crates were on the gym floor: one containing dozens of footballs, and another with flag belts and red and yellow flags. 

Willow was off to the side, being a good co-captainy type and John was pacing, eager for practice to begin.

Dean was doing warm up and stretching, especially of his injured shoulder which was slingless today.

Abigail grabbed a spot on the floor and started stretching out, while keeping an eye open to see who else was going to show up.

Dick didn't feel the need to stretch (something he'll probably regret later) so he just grabbed a flag and was trying to attach it to himself. It wasn't working out.

Evie got flags, then stood there bouncing up and down, utterly thrilled to be doing this. She'd worn her khakis so she wouldn't trip, and one of her knit blouses for comfort, and now had the flags waving from her belt.

Chad hadn't been feeling very well at all, but he did some stretching in hopes that maybe it'll just go away.

Dawn had a very small headache, but was ignoring it as she stretched her arms behind her, then sat down on the grass and stretched her legs out in a V (almost a straight line, really), leaning frontwards over them to stretch out her back as well.

Jim stretched, grabbed a belt and some flags. And then he ran in place just to make the icon even more appropriate.

Years of warrior training meant there were all kinds of warm-up exercises Sokka had forgotten because he rarely bothered with them. Still, everyone else was stretching, so he did some of the more basic moves that he remembered.

Throwing a football back and forth shouldn't be too bad for his stomach, right? His stomach that felt like death...Maaaan. He looked for someone who might look like they had a high arm. A ball going into his stomach could only end badly.

Speaking awhile with John, Annette knew she needed practice in aiming her football at someone, and hoping she did it right without it veering too much.
