The Roof, Monday Afternoon

Ronan stood at the edge of the roof, looking over the island. It was strange to have gone asleep in one time, and to have woken up in another, but hardly surprising given the island on which he stood. He was, however, thankful for the Manual functions that told him when he was -- otherwise, he would have been far more surprised, and probably not realised for longer than he'd like to admit.

As it was, he was smiling softly, wondering if he'd be given a chance to try and set right some of the few things he truly regretted from his time here, or if it was truly too risky to try.

[Open; he's introspective, not emo, feel absolutely free to interrupt him.]

After his strained conversation with Savannah, Johnny took himself up stairs to the roof. He needed to calm down, to reflect, and to get over the fact that he had a daughter out there somewhere and may never get the chance to meet her.

Spotting someone else on the roof already, Johnny moved off towards the other end so as not to disturb him, shoved his hands in his front trouser pockets, and stared out over the grounds of Fandom.

Johnny turned his head and stared at the other man for a good minute before his lips curved ever so slightly. "Ronan. I wasn't expecting to see you here."

Don't fall off the roof.

River had climbed up the stairs just to see the place again, not expecting to find an old friend. She slowly approached Ronan.

Should have expected a reunion at Fandom to be unusual. It felt good to talk without words again. She hadn't done it in years.

After spending most of the morning crying being introspective in his room, Neil decided to head up to the roof for a bit.

It was too quiet in his room and too stuffy, like trying to think from underneath a woolen blanket and Neil felt like he needed his head clear to get a better handle on this ... surprise.

So yeah, up to the roof he went, hands in his pockets, heart in his throat and eyes down on his feet.

Neil looked over towards Ronan but as with Andrew, he didn't immediately recognize him as the classmate who had given him the really great cocoa a couple nights before.

"Good afternoon, Sir." He said politely, stopping and giving Ronan a deferential nod of his head.

Burton made his way up to the roof. Man, the place felt a bit small after all the years, but the roof was still... roofy.

"Hey," he returned, manfully.

For old times' sake, Jenny decided to go up to the roof to have a smoke. As she lit up, she glanced around to see who else might be up here.

((NB: Jenny looks 5 years older, not 20.))

Jenny blinked at him for a moment, then grinned. "I did. You got hot." She offered him her pack of fags. "How's life?"

Cassandra walked out onto the roof. She had been planning to meet someone the night before, but things had happened. So she was there tonight. She was even early, wondering who else might be up there with all the weird time-jumping people on Fandom these days.

She nodded in return then stopped. "I... should know you?" she sounded hesitant. It was sometimes hard keeping up with who she was supposed to know and who she wasn't.

Anemone came skipping out on the roof, looking around for her partner-in-crime. She had a small bag filled with music, and a CD player clutched in her hands as she looked around.

Cassandra was standing looking out over the edge of the roof. The wind in her face felt good, and while it wasn't quite the same as roof-running back in Gotham, it was as close as she was likely to get here.

She turned as Anemone came out, and grinned.

Anemone loved the roof, loved the feel of the wind. It was as close to flying as she could get here.

Seeing Cassandra, she grinned and headed over towards the edge. "I see you managed to avoid the strangeness too."
