The Roof, Monday Afternoon

Ronan stood at the edge of the roof, looking over the island. It was strange to have gone asleep in one time, and to have woken up in another, but hardly surprising given the island on which he stood. He was, however, thankful for the Manual functions that told him when he was -- otherwise, he would have been far more surprised, and probably not realised for longer than he'd like to admit.

As it was, he was smiling softly, wondering if he'd be given a chance to try and set right some of the few things he truly regretted from his time here, or if it was truly too risky to try.

[Open; he's introspective, not emo, feel absolutely free to interrupt him.]

Someone else who knew him but was obviously older, hmmm.

Neil stood there for a moment, watching Ronan very closely until eventually that tell tale lilt sank in and he smiled warmly.

"Ronan," he said knowingly and stuffing his hands in his pockets he walked towards the man. "I seem to have some strange immunity, yes."

"I wonder why?" Ronan asked, smiling warmly. "Perhaps a function of your home universe. How are you, Neil? Life proceeding apace?"

Neil gave a small shrug about the why question, though you know ... now that he thought about it.

His mind drifted for a moment before he came back to the tail end of Ronan's question and he looked down at his toes.

"I've had better days," he admitted softly, walking closer to the edge of the roof.
