2nd floor common room, Saturday late morning

Johnny was just headed out of the shower when he thought to get a glass of orange juice. Heading into the common room he did just that but noticed that hey! cartoons were on!

Sitting down, he was just only going to stay for a minutes while he watched the coyote blow up stuff. He loved this cartoon!

"Lucky you. It makes your life easier."

She curled her feet under her on the chair. "I talked to him. But it was hard to have a serious discussion in the middle of the picnic. And hard to explain the truth without upsetting him. I'd forgotten how scared we were at that age."

There was nothing but concern for her in his eyes when he looked at her. "What do you plan on doing as far as telling him goes? Where is he coming from, in his dimension?"

"The truth. And soon. At least as much as I can without potentially screwing up the timeline." Isabel sighed, feeling a little helpless at the inevitability of it all. "He's from about three years ago. When it was just the three of us. God, he still thinks home is our planet."

"I'm sorry, sweetheart," Johnny said low. "I'm not much help here, I'm afraid. I'm totally lacking in the right words to comfort you."

"You're listening. That's enough for me," she smiled. "But do me a favor? If you meet him? Try not to say anything? And just look out for him?"

"Is it Michael?" he asked, hearing her mention that name before. "And you know I will, especially since you're so concerned for him. What room is he in, you know? Might stop by sometime and introduce myself."

"It's Michael, yeah," Isabel nodded. "He's up in 512. That'd be great if you could stop by. I'd really appreciate it."

"Not a problem," Johnny said, reaching out to squeeze her hand. "You okay though, seriously? How's Wyatt been?"

"I'm fine," she said, squeezing his hand back. "You know me. I just think too much." As always, she smiled brightly when she thought of Wyatt. "He's great. He came out to spend some time with me in Roswell. It was nice."

"Great," Johnny said, though still he had a hard time picturing Mr. Curly with Isabel. If Johnny were single, he't totally be giving him a hard time. "Is he still gone?"

"No, he's around. Probably sleeping in for the morning." They didn't spend every night together. "He came back in time for New Year's and then we went out for the meteor shower the other night."

"Uh," the lazy ass, he thought though he was smiling at Isabel. She seemed all too shiny when she was talking about Wyatt. "How was the meteor shower? I didn't even know there was one."

Wyatt would get a work-out when Isabel wandered down the hall and woke him up so Johnny didn't need to worry laziness.

"It was nice. But cold," she grinned. "It's not one of the really well-known showers because the weather's usually bad, but this year it all worked out. It was nice."

"I should have gone flying New Years Eve. Amongst the fireworks... would have been totally awesome."

"Go tonight, you'll impress the new people," Isabel laughed.

"Think I've already impressed some of the," he said with macho sincerity and a wink at her.

"Just don't impress them too much," she warned, snickering a bit. "Savannah will kick your ass."

Johnny grinned wide. "I kind of like it when she does that."

"You would," Isabel replied, rolling her eyes. "And on that note, I think I'm going to wander down the hall and see what Wyatt's up to."

"You go right on ahead, sweetheart. Glad to know you saw me first this morning," he winked at her.

"It's been the highlight of my day. So far," she teased as she got to her feet. "I'll see you later?"
