2nd floor common room, Saturday late morning
Johnny was just headed out of the shower when he thought to get a glass of orange juice. Heading into the common room he did just that but noticed that hey! cartoons were on!
Sitting down, he was just only going to stay for a minutes while he watched the coyote blow up stuff. He loved this cartoon!
[the CR is public! and open! yo!]

Kara Kent needed food.
She'd been told that the common room was pretty much the place for that.
So, faster than three blinks of an eye, Kara had showered, dressed, and then slowed down enough so that was walking like a normal human girl towards the common room, dressed in her red Ugg boots, a denim miniskirt, and a long-sleeved red and blue top.
The sound of a cartoon was heard loud and clear as she poured herself a cup of coffee and toasted a bagel for herself.

He did, however, hear when someone else came in. Glancing over his shoulder, he raised a brow and grinned. "It's a new girl!" In a miniskirt!

"Good morning," she said pleasantly. "I'm not...disturbing you, am I?" Because Rao knows that when it comes to a boy and cartoons, sometimes they like all the nonbotheration they can get.

She really needed to get used to saying that, because she still wanted to introduce herself as Kara Zor-El.
It was then that she noticed that Johnny was shirtless.
And in a towel.
Thank you, Clark.
Kara took a seat on a large, cushiony armchair, sinking comfortably into it, and sipped her coffee while watching the cartoon.
The Coyote, in a span of less than a minute, had screwed up again.

So Reno, who was bored, had decided to take the opportunity to wander around the dorms.
The second floor common room, being part of the dorms, happened to also be wandered into.
"Shirtless television watching. Some kinda new trend I should know about?"

"You can wear whatever you want. Not like I care. I was never one to adhere to dress code, yo."
no subject
He considers the TV for a moment before he looked back at Reno. "How'd your first day go, all in all?"

He rolled into the second floor common room and paused. Oh no! The poor boy must have been locked out of his room without his clothes!
Anxious to be helpful, Artoo went racing up to Luke's room and then rolled back over to Johnny, shirt held out in his claw.
So helpful!

No, he hadn't thought about how much shorter Luke was than this guy. Droids don't wear clothes, so he thought everything was pretty much interchangeable.
no subject
"I'm thinking Luke might not like me stretching out his shirt," Johnny told Artoo, because naturally that's where he assumed the shirt came from.

She drew in a breath, stiffening a little when she saw people were already in the room, but kept her focus, it would seem, on limping to the kitchenette, hopefully without being noticed, where she could sit back and just watch quietly, like she did, watch things like the new blonde that she'd try not to liken to Rachel but probably would, the Modern Prometheus and his current state of half-dress, the other kid she didn't know, the guy with hair that she would think was unnatural if she hadn't herself seen that exact color on the heads of some of the women in Kilanga...
