April Fools Party, Third Floor Common Room - Tuesday Night

The TV was hooked up to play only music videos and had a microphone set up with it, the pizza was fresh and tasty and there was plenty of soda for all.

A sign outside the common room read:

APRIL FOOLS PARTY!

"And a party's the best way to do it. I've found spreadsheets help with names too." He paused for a beat. "Not really, I was making that up, although now I'm thinking it's not such a bad idea."

He chuckled. "It's a great way to do it but if you've got the patience to do up a spreadsheet, then more power to you. You'd have to add pictures for it to be worth it," he shrugged, grinning. "Too much work."

"I think I've come up with a better solution. Think 'kick me' signs, but with names. Most people don't even notice that the kick me sign has been put on them. The same could work for a piece of paper with their name on it. Talk a freshman into doing all the legwork and we're set."

"Ferris? You're my kinda guy," he said, then paused. "Uh, I don't mean like that." Cause you know some guys might totally take that the wrong way.

"Thanks. For the compliment and the clarification. As flattered as I would be, I'm not a guy kind of guy. Alas, my attention span is short and," he looked around at the girls in the room, "there are way too many distractions of the female persuasion to keep me occupied."

Johnny shouldn't say anything about being a guy kind of guy, instead he offered, "I get that, though my checking out the chicks days are pretty much over. I've had a girlfriend for sometime now," he said. "You saw her when we came in, right?"

"That's the one. Savannah," Johnny said, his eyes warming as he spotted her across the way a bit. "She's a great girl."
