Cheerleading Practice, Gym [Wednesday, After Classes]

Angela was feeling so very much more cheerful today than the last time she did this, and was down early to set out the mats, sign in sheet, and put out bottles of water. Hydration is key, as always.

That done, she threw in a CD, upped the volume and settled down on the mats to warm up.

Brooke found a spot on the mat to do some stretching, and at the same time might've been checking out whether the laundry issues had anyone looking particularly embarrassing today.

Shhh, she was going to be there in a little bit if this didn't get solved soon. She was taking the amusing stuff while she could.

Most of Angela's normal cheerleading wear was currently being held hostage by the dryers, but lucky for her she had spare shorts (even if they were a little on the extra short side) and an old tank top. It wasn't as bad as it could've been.

She was stretched out on the floor, warming up the muscles in her legs.

"I don't know it can really be called a date," Angela told him, looking up at him to shoot a quick smile his way. "And it went fine, thank you."

"Well, you were out with a guy and it wasn't a study session so...date," he decided. "I don't think I've met him."

"Two guys, and Amber," she corrected as she sat up. "Priestly's one of the new students. Nice guy. Looks like a punked up Dean."

Well, that was a shame, since she knew at least one person (that wasn't her) that would totally be up for that threesome.

"Then it's good that he only looks like him," Angela said with a smile. "How have you managed to get on Dean's bad side, anyway?"

"I went out with his little sibling a few times," Hannibal said and shrugged. "I think he thought I was gonna knock her up and leave her so he got all Daddy Dean and tried to lecture me."

"Ah." She could see how that would do it, and Angela looked a little amused. "You know he's my big sibling too, right?"

He kept the other stuff quiet because public place, hi.

"Probably a wise move," Angela decided, nodding once. "How're the bruises feeling?"

"Eh, fine," he said and waved a hand. "It's more of an annoyance than anything and sometimes I get a headache. Should be good as new by this weekend."

"Not yet," Angela replied. "Something I've got to work on."

"If I can find acceptable 'leave school grounds' clothes, I am going to go to the exhibit opening tonight."

"Oh, the artsy thing," Hannibal said. He'd heard something about it on the radio. "What are they showing?"

"Not actually sure," Angela admitted. "But as you said, it's an artsy thing, so I'm bound to get some enjoyment out of it."

With the bruising on his face healing, Hannibal decided to take it a little easier than usual today at cheerleading. That mostly meant he was sitting down, stretching some but mostly just lounging.

He didn't need a headache.

Kaylee was getting so flexible, she could completely bend at the waist over her lap and hold onto her feet.

Not that this was a huge accomplishment, but she thought it was pretty shiny.

She also was on her last clean pair of comfy cheer-type shorts, and she'd resorted to wearing a sports bra to practice rather than anything more substantial. It weren't like anyone was probably looking, and even if they were, there wasn't much there anyway.
