Super Bowl Party, 1st Floor Rec Room, Sunday Afternoon

Thanks to KKG and a little ingenuity, the first floor rec room was arranged for a Super Bowl Party. Black, yellow, red and white crepe paper hung from the walls, a good chunk of the seating in the dorms had been dragged into the room for the crowd, and a table was full of assorted snacks guaranteed to destroy arteries and waistlines alike.

Even if you just wanted to see the commercials, it would probably be a fun time.

Tony got a wave from Liir's little corner not all that close to the television that'd be showing the game. This year, instead of being creeped, he just... wasn't all that interested in the game.

Tony went over to Liir. "Hey," he said. "Football fan?"

"Not really, but it's not a bad sport. Sort of like campball."

"From what I've seen, it's a lot like this," and he pointed at the television, "only without all the padding."

"Oh, kinda like rugby," Tony said. "I'm more into hockey, but this is, you know, Superbowl, so I figured I'd watch."

"Hockey?" he asked curiously.

He shook his head.

"For another time. It's the... the football thing, so we should probably pay attention to this."

He perked up.

"So, uh, how've you been?"

"Hockey's on ice. We can watch a game sometime," Tony smiled. "I've been good. School, theatre, nothing exciting. How's Amber?"

"Well," he said with a nod, "well, last I saw her, which was about a day or so ago at most. Then again, it's this place."

"This place?" Tony smiled. "Do you think she might have turned into a kitten since you last saw her?"

"I don't think so. I expect she would have made her way to my room or her roommate would have told me or something if that'd happened."

He looked around the room and quirked his lips.

"...it's times like these that I remember I'm rather boring."

Tony shook his head. "Or maybe things have just been quiet lately," he said with a smile.

"Oh, don't say that. I don't want to end up green or with a daughter or have those giraffes again," he said.

"They did eventually melt, but it was very strange."

"No, just giraffe. But they were very tiny."

"Not nearly as nice as the day that pudding fell from the sky, but up there, as you said. Not as much of that of late, though, which is nice."

He shook his head.

"Probably should actually watch the game, or whatev--"

Beat.

"Do you know what's going on with the girl kissing thing?"
