Super Bowl Party, 1st Floor Rec Room, Sunday Afternoon

Thanks to KKG and a little ingenuity, the first floor rec room was arranged for a Super Bowl Party. Black, yellow, red and white crepe paper hung from the walls, a good chunk of the seating in the dorms had been dragged into the room for the crowd, and a table was full of assorted snacks guaranteed to destroy arteries and waistlines alike.

Even if you just wanted to see the commercials, it would probably be a fun time.

"Either one," she said. "Anything I should be doing, traditions I should look out for so I'm not busy staring when it happens..."

"It should be just like last year, other than halftime," John said.

"And see, I honestly can't remember if I was even at this last year," she said. "What's different about halftime?" Yes, she'd ignored the posters.

"You don't remember learning about Cheetos with me? I'm hurt," John replied before pausing to explain halftime. "So, you walk around the dorm blinded by your work focus, don't you?"

"Jaina, there are massive posters everywhere announcing a halftime party where...girls will be encouraged to make out with each other." Look at him using real words.

"Nah. I've already got someone to kiss." Not that Jaina could ever see herself going to a party just to make out with someone even if she were single.

Something about that didn't really sit well with her. Maybe because it was exactly her reasoning and she didn't expect him to sound okay about it. "Pretty much." She waved a hand. "Too much of it anyway. I'd never stop hearing new things."
