Super Bowl Party, 1st Floor Rec Room, Sunday Afternoon

Thanks to KKG and a little ingenuity, the first floor rec room was arranged for a Super Bowl Party. Black, yellow, red and white crepe paper hung from the walls, a good chunk of the seating in the dorms had been dragged into the room for the crowd, and a table was full of assorted snacks guaranteed to destroy arteries and waistlines alike.

Even if you just wanted to see the commercials, it would probably be a fun time.

Romeo nodded. "How are you settling in, by the way? I heard somethng on the radio about you trying to kiss girls."

"Succeeding," Priestly pointed out. "And things are going pretty good."

"Suceeding is better," Romeo said firmly. "Who with?"

"A whole buncha people." That he couldn't quite remember all the time. "We . . . were pretty drunk."

"So you found Caritas," Romeo said. He started to chuckle before he caught himself. "Sorry to laugh at your misery, but I still would have liked to see it."

"Actually had the stuff in my room, but yeah, I've found Caritas. And who says I'm miserable?"

"I think I jumped ahead of you," Romeo shrugged apologetically.

"Nothing too interesting," Romeo answered. "I'm running the betting table for the game today and trying not to fight with my girlfriend."

"We never did much before, but we're in a bad patch," Romeo explained. "She has to go home after graduation and she would rather I not come along. So every time it comes up ..." His eyes told the rest of the story. "I don't know why I'm telling you this."
