Super Bowl Party, 1st Floor Rec Room, Sunday Afternoon

Thanks to KKG and a little ingenuity, the first floor rec room was arranged for a Super Bowl Party. Black, yellow, red and white crepe paper hung from the walls, a good chunk of the seating in the dorms had been dragged into the room for the crowd, and a table was full of assorted snacks guaranteed to destroy arteries and waistlines alike.

Even if you just wanted to see the commercials, it would probably be a fun time.

[OOC: I have NO time to make this creative, sorry. Up early for SP and timezones, please wait for OCD is done.]

"You're more than welcome," he said, settling carefully back down with a smile.

She handed him his drink and carefully set hers on the floor by her feet.

Then she grabbed a wing and took a bite. "Mmm, so messy but sooo good."

He took his own in careful fingers and started in.

"Not so bad," he said, and he wasn't making too much of a mess.

Amber got messy. Fingers, lips.. it didn't matter. Wings were messy and were meant to be messy.

She dipped a new one in some ranch and grinned over at him. "Football food."

"I'll have to keep that in mind. Do you like... football?" he asked curiously.

"No, not really. Mount Rose is a hockey town. 'Bout the only way guys get out of there you know? Either on a hockey scholarship or they end up dying in a hunting accident."

"And what's hockey like? Tony mentioned it too..."

"Two opposing teams try to knock this little disc in each opposing teams goalie net, using these sticks... and oh, it's played on ice. The guys wear ice skates."

"So... like shinney?"

It wasn't a game he'd ever played much, but some of the older children at the mauntery had enjoyed it when the weather turned cold and some of the courtyard was slick.

She looked at him. "I have no idea what shinney is."

"What you described," he told her.

"I... suppose they just have different names then."

Weird.

He nodded, licked his lips, then kissed her cheek before going back to his plate.

Amber giggled and in a moment of playfullness, leaned up and kissed his cheek but she didn't lick her lips first.
