Main Campfire, Friday Evening
Once the sun went down, a rather spectacularly large bonfire was lit for the party. No, Merlin was not aware it was now celebrated on the first of May. Calenders change, after all.
There was even a crudely constructed maypole there in case anyone felt the need to dance around it. They did so at their own peril, of course. The mockery that may ensue would probably be great.

Re: Mingle by the Bonfire!
Fiona's face scrunched up.
"I'd think it would make more sense to have men dance around it then," she said with a quick shake of her head.
"After all, if they're so happy about it, they can celebrate it."

All these things she didn't know about, all these rituals. All this culture and the stories-- for all that she could name a dozen rare blood diseases off the top of her head or speak half a dozen languages without trouble, she perpetually felt that she knew nothing here. It was equally magnificent and frustrating all at once.
"Is this a holiday where you come from or is it just... common knowledge?"

"Fiona," she said, holding out her hand for a shake. It came a bit like it'd been springloaded, but it was still a friendly gesture.

"That's something of a new experience. Where's home?"

"Poor Merlin," was all she said. Morgana could take from it what she liked.
