Main Campfire, Friday Evening

Once the sun went down, a rather spectacularly large bonfire was lit for the party. No, Merlin was not aware it was now celebrated on the first of May. Calenders change, after all.

There was even a crudely constructed maypole there in case anyone felt the need to dance around it. They did so at their own peril, of course. The mockery that may ensue would probably be great.

Leda laughed, and reached for his hand. "At least twirl me. Just once. Pleeeeease?"

"Fun until we wake up with hangovers and bruises tomorrow," he grouched goodnaturatedly, even as he tried to twirl them around.

He was really going to regret this.

Leda grinned. "The hangovers just mean we had a great time the night before." she said philosophically. She did stumble a little.

Stumbling led to more stumbling and Jon nearly tipped them over. "Told ya," he said with a laugh.

Leda laughed, and hung onto him for support. "I should have believed you. Can you ever forgive me?"

"Nope." He was totally kidding though, and not minding being hung onto. "Never, never, never."

He's also slightly drunk.

"Isn't there anything I can do to make it up to you?" she asked, giving him the puppy dog eyes. Which, since she was bombed, probably looked kinda weird.

"Um..." He had to think about that, but it was hard to think at the moment. "Dance. We should dance."

"I can do that." she agreed. "Elves are naturally graceful." She proved this by doing a little dance step that almost had her sprawling in the dirt. "Honest."

He laughed because it was funny. "Maybe we should hold onto the pole for help?"

Leda concentrated to coordinate herself and managed to snatch two ribbons. "Here."

Jon stared at the ribbon, a very pink ribbon and shrugged. "What's the point of wrapping up a pole anyway?"
