Third floor common room- Wednesday night

After a lot of work (some involving a showerhead, don't ask, and no not dirty) throughout the day, Jaina had decided she had to get out of her room for a while. So she'd just gone to the common room, made herself a sandwich, and started reading a report on her datapad with the TV on for noise.

Somehow she hadn't figured out that doing this was bound to distract her, and this was why she was staring at an episode of "I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant", looking seriously confused, datapad forgotten, and occasionally saying things aloud like "There is something wrong with you," and "What do you mean this is a series??"

[Open like an open thing. ...I may have been dying to make this a CR post for a few weeks now. Because omgwtf SHOW.]

Jaina made a face in return. "Trust me, neither am I, but it's like watching a speeder wreck. You just can't look away..."

He couldn't look away. It was like a nightmare.

"...Why is the baby in the toilet?" Oh hell. "Why are they asking if they should take it out?!"

It was enough to break a semi-sheltered farm boy.

"I'm almost convinced it's a fake show, all scripted for ratings," Jaina tried, and looked over at him. "You okay?"

No. Not at all.

"Fake?" Maybe Clark could cling to that. "But who would make that up?"

"Someone evil. I don't have more specifics than that." Though it was a theory she could get behind.

"We should look up the makers of the show, see if they have answers," Clark suggested, because there had to be justice for these poor children.

"I think I'd rather just hit them," said Jaina. "I think they need it."

"Something tells me that won't solve the issue," he reasoned, judging her like a judging thing. "It'll just make you feel better."

Jaina thought about it. "I'm okay with that at the moment."
