Fifth Floor Common Room [Saturday morning]

Sookie was a little surprised this morning -- obviously, since the future-children had been to visit already, it wasn't going to happen again. But when she had woken up still seventeen (still prom queen!) and found Bobby decidedly...smaller, and younger by about ten years, she could've been knocked over by a feather.

That being said, it hadn't taken long for her to realize the only course of action. And so Sookie, in her pajamas (and Bobby, somehow in little-boy pajamas that featured penguins driving racecars) padded out to the common room to start making pancakes. Somewhere along the way, she'd added a few healthier foods to her plan, too, and had turned on some cartoons, but pancakes were definitely the endgame here.

It had worked for the other little kids, after all.

[COMMON ROOM IS OPEN YAY WEETINIES OMG]

"Thookie'th making pancaketh," Rilla explained. "She's a very good cook."

[identity profile] thinkbetterofme.livejournal.com 2011-04-16 05:35 pm (UTC)(link)
"Is she sharing?" he asked. "Because I am hungry, but I do not know her so she might not. I would ask Boromir, but I do not think he is here."

"Ath long ath you thay pleathe," Rilla informed him, nodding. "I haven't theen Jem, Walter, Shirley or the twinth yet."

That didn't really bother her. It meant more pancakes for Rilla Blythe, thank ye kindly.

"Perhaps they are with Boromir," he reasoned, but the mean girl had him worried now as she had spoken of eating people. "He will watch out for them. He is big and strong."

That was perhaps meant mostly for himself, but his stomach was still empty. "I will say please!"

[identity profile] rilla-myrilla.livejournal.com 2011-04-16 05:59 pm (UTC)(link)
"Of courthe you will," Rilla said stoutly. "You are very polite."

Unlike Karla. Hmph.

[identity profile] thinkbetterofme.livejournal.com 2011-04-16 06:03 pm (UTC)(link)
"Is someone not?" he asked, glancing around the room again to make certain the weird girl was not there. "I met a very mean girl earlier. I did not like her much."

[identity profile] rilla-myrilla.livejournal.com 2011-04-16 06:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Rilla reasoned that it wasn't really tattling when she was telling another child, and so pointed at Karla. "She made fun of my sthpeech impediment. Who did you mean?"

[identity profile] thinkbetterofme.livejournal.com 2011-04-16 06:13 pm (UTC)(link)
"A mean girl who slept in my room," Faramir replied as he looked towards the other girl. "That is not nice. You should not make fun of people. Do you want me to talk to her?" Boromir was much better at this, but Faramir thought he could get her to stop.

[identity profile] rilla-myrilla.livejournal.com 2011-04-16 06:29 pm (UTC)(link)
"Yeth," Rilla decided, nodding. "Maybe she'll lithen to a boy."

[identity profile] thinkbetterofme.livejournal.com 2011-04-16 06:33 pm (UTC)(link)
"I will then," Faramir decided, moving beside Rilla to try and wrap his arm around her shoulders. "Right after I have eaten, then I am stronger. You can stay with me and I will keep her away."

[identity profile] rilla-myrilla.livejournal.com 2011-04-16 06:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Rilla beamed up at him and hugged him back. "Thank you. And then we can get married!"

Sorry, Faramir.

[identity profile] thinkbetterofme.livejournal.com 2011-04-16 06:47 pm (UTC)(link)
Faramir blinked, but Rilla was nice after all and someone should take care of her. "We can," he agreed.

[identity profile] rilla-myrilla.livejournal.com 2011-04-16 07:06 pm (UTC)(link)
"Yay!" Rilla cheered. "I should go find a new dreth. After pancaketh."

[identity profile] thinkbetterofme.livejournal.com 2011-04-16 07:08 pm (UTC)(link)
"A pretty one?" he asked, reaching for her hand to lead her to where the food was. "And you can put flowers in your hair."

[identity profile] rilla-myrilla.livejournal.com 2011-04-16 09:34 pm (UTC)(link)
"Oooh, yeth!" Rilla. "Daffodilths or lilieth!"

[identity profile] thinkbetterofme.livejournal.com 2011-04-16 10:05 pm (UTC)(link)
"You could have both," he offered, because he was much more of a girl than his brother was. "You would look very pretty, and there would be a lot of people there to come see us, and they would think so as well."

Such a girl.

[identity profile] rilla-myrilla.livejournal.com 2011-04-16 10:51 pm (UTC)(link)
"I'll invite them all tonight," Rilla decided. "Do you think a day'th notice is too short?"

[identity profile] thinkbetterofme.livejournal.com 2011-04-16 10:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Faramir had to think about that, but he could pull up a chair for her while he was doing so. "I think it takes a long while before a wedding is arranged," he admitted. "Uncle Imrahil has a long way to travel if we want him to be here. And Boromir would be mad if he did not get to see."

He considered it some more. "Maybe there could be two weddings."

[identity profile] rilla-myrilla.livejournal.com 2011-04-17 12:35 am (UTC)(link)
"One tomorrow for our friendth and one later for our familieth!"

No wonder Rilla was marrying Faramir. He was brilliant.

[identity profile] thinkbetterofme.livejournal.com 2011-04-17 12:38 am (UTC)(link)
And perhaps a little too easy going. His brother was very likely to mock him (both the twelve year old version Faramir remembered as the twenty-one year old back home).

"That would please them both, I am certain," he decided. "It is a long way to Minas Tirith so not everyone here would want to come." And obviously any marriage was happening there. Besides the one in Fandom, that was.

[identity profile] rilla-myrilla.livejournal.com 2011-04-17 12:57 am (UTC)(link)
"It would probably take two or three dayth to get there from Glen St Mary," Rilla agreed. Her geography could use some work.

[identity profile] thinkbetterofme.livejournal.com 2011-04-17 01:02 am (UTC)(link)
Faramir did not know one way or another, so he merely accepted her statement as truth. "Do they have a citadel?"

[identity profile] rilla-myrilla.livejournal.com 2011-04-17 01:13 am (UTC)(link)
"They have a lighthouthe?" Rilla replied.

[identity profile] thinkbetterofme.livejournal.com 2011-04-17 01:20 am (UTC)(link)
It was only because he had been on ships before, travelling to Dol Amroth that Faramir did not need to ask what those were. "No, but there is the Tower of Ecthelion. You can see very far if you go all the way up to the top."

[identity profile] rilla-myrilla.livejournal.com 2011-04-17 01:34 am (UTC)(link)
Rilla decided immediately that "Ectelion" was the most wonderful word ever.

"We should do that," she decided. "Have you been there very often?"
