Fifth Floor Common Room [Saturday morning]
Sookie was a little surprised this morning -- obviously, since the future-children had been to visit already, it wasn't going to happen again. But when she had woken up still seventeen (still prom queen!) and found Bobby decidedly...smaller, and younger by about ten years, she could've been knocked over by a feather.
That being said, it hadn't taken long for her to realize the only course of action. And so Sookie, in her pajamas (and Bobby, somehow in little-boy pajamas that featured penguins driving racecars) padded out to the common room to start making pancakes. Somewhere along the way, she'd added a few healthier foods to her plan, too, and had turned on some cartoons, but pancakes were definitely the endgame here.
It had worked for the other little kids, after all.

He looked at her stubbornly for a moment, and then sat himself down on the floor and reached out to pet Joni. The proper way, and everything!
"And you don't have to call me that. But you can call me Jon, if you like..."
He liked being called Jon. It made him feel like a grownup.

She was loving this glimpse of Jono as a child, though she had to restrain herself from squishing him with hugs. He was accepting the strange lady who wanted to feed him well enough, but hugs might be pushing it.
"And the crown suits you," she added. "You deserve it."

Which immediately made it awesome. But not as awesome as Jon. Big kids totally didn't go by Jono.
He adjusted his crown again, and broke into a big, silly grin. "Do you really think it suits me? I've never had one before."

She wasn't going to mention that she'd met Arthur, at least a version of him. She had a feeling he would think she was crazy.

"Great-Granddad tells me that I'm very strong, too," he shared, getting bored with petting the kitty and settling for just sitting and carrying on an animated conversation with the weird girl. "He says I have enough power in me to level Her Magesty's royal fleet." Pause. "Whatever that's s'posed to mean."
Clearly, Jono thought that Jack Starsmore was getting a bit senile, these days.

"What would you do with that kind of power, if you had it?" she asked, trying to cover up her unease.

All the best of luck with that, little guy.

"What is motocross?" she had to ask. That was the second time he'd used the term, and she didn't have any idea what that was.

Jono didn't dream small, here.

Jono had never mentioned motorbikes to her that she could recall; she wondered now if he'd lost interest in such a thing growing up, or if he'd given up on that youthful dream after his powers had manifested.

... It made sense to Jono, who had given up a lot of dreams when his powers had manifested, really.
All of them.

She wasn't going to fret about something that wasn't going to happen. Much. Shhh.
"And wear a helmet," she added.

He was such a charming little boy.
"And I'll get a good leather jacket too, t'protect my arms and things."
