3rd Floor Common Room | Sunday Evening

Stiles was bored, so bored. Bored and unable to focus on anything, it was a terrible affliction. After spending all day in his room doing nothing he decided to broaden his horizons and go to the common room to do nothing. Of course Stiles wasn't actually capable of doing literally nothing so "nothing" for him right now meant continuing his quest to teach himself Archaic Latin while the second Dusk movie was playing in the background.

Shut up, he was watching it ironically. Or something. It was better than watching the Mets play the Pirates. If they lost to the Pirates it'd just be embarrassing and Stiles refused to be a part of it, no sir. He would rather watch lame not-werewolves and sparkly vampires any day.

Somewhere along the way he managed to make an un-burnt bowl of popcorn and poured M&M's in it. 'Cause it was necessary to add them.

[Open, of course. Just for the record it pains me to play a Mets fan]

There wasn't anyone in the common room on his floor so he'd come up a floor to see if anyone was here. And lo, there was Stiles who was entertaining enough.

That he had food just made it better.

"Geez, how many vampires does this time period need?" he asked when he spotted the television.

"Well that's a stupid question, there's never enough vampires," Stiles said, glancing up at Jim from over his laptop. "They never go out of style."

"Really?" Jim asked, taking a seat on the couch. "They don't...run out of ideas? I mean, it seems every time I turn on the TV, there's a vampire dying or selling me some hair product or getting drunk."

"You really think vampires can get drunk?" Stiles asked. "Seems unfair to werewolves if they could."

"You really trying to apply logic to vampires especially in movies?" Jim wondered. "Vampires could piss rainbows if a movie wanted it to."

"Well anybody could do anything in movies if they wanted to," Stiles said, rolling his eyes. "I was talking about actual vampires."

"You know many actual vampires?" Jim asked. He didn't peg Stiles as the type but looks could be deceiving. "Why would it make unfair to werewolves?"

"I've met one or two," Stiles said. "And it'd be unfair to werewolves because werewolves can't get drunk."

"There a particular reason why?" Jim asked, curious. "Or just because being all...werewolfy messes them up?"

"I think it's the super healing?" Stiles said. "Like alcohol doesn't stay in their system long enough to work or something."

"Ah, so it's not a matter of them not being able to handle alcohol, they just handle it too quickly and never get the buzz."

How sad for them. "But, they miss out on hangovers, at least."

"True," Stiles said with a nod. "But they don't have a go-to excuse for when they do something stupid."

"So, if they do something stupid, it just makes them stupid?" Jim guessed.

"Oh God not that movie again," was Anya's first reaction as she entered the Common Room. "You could just leave the TV on static and be done with it."

"It's not so bad." No, he actually thought the movie was horrible but he thought the constant hate against it was almost more annoying than the actual movie itself. Also he sort of related after SOW. "Is there even a static channel?"

Anya didn't mind the movie, as long as she didn't need to watch it. "Okay, it's not so bad, but I bet you've got like a million channels in this thing. And yeah, one is probably just static," Anya said.

"Oh. Well I'd rather watch this than static." The girl in the movie looked like the girl version of him! It was freaky and weird and he was drawn into it. "I've definitely seen worse."

He was the king of Syfy movies, after all.

"But what about your fellow classmates that might want to watch something at least slightly less mind scarring? Like static, or the weather channel?"

Stiles has nothing on Anya when it came to awful movies, but she wasn't so sure glittery vampires were even ironically bad.

"Theeeeeen they can go to another floor and watch TV there?" Yeah a courteous guy he was not.

"What if this is my floor? Don't make me fight you for the remote. I didn't spend all my life without siblings to fight for the remote and I won't start now," Anya said, although she was already looking around to try and keep up with the so called plot of the movie.

"Okay, I don't hit girls so fighting wouldn't be an option." He didn't hit anyone, really. Save for Jackson and maybe Derek when he was unconscious. "And I believe the remote falls under the rights of whoever got there first."

Anya muttered something along the lines of 'weird remote haggler movie chico' and sat down. "Trust me, it's better this way; I really wouldn't want to be the one to give you a terrible reputation around here," she said, cocky smile and all.

"If you're trying to insinuate that you'd kick my ass and make me feel like less of a man for it you're in for disappointment," Stiles told her. "About making me feel like less of a man, I mean. Everybody could kick my ass, it's not that difficult to pull off."

Anya was simply going to smile a lot and offer him a hand to shake, because that basically made him the coolest and lamest person she had met so far. "Anya Corazón, nice to meet you."

That said, she turned to see the movie. "Is this before she's terrible with face expressions and being stalked or when she's terrible with face expressions but her vampire stalker ditched her?"

"Stiles." He didn't know exactly what just happened but he'd shake her hand anyway. "The second one. And it's kind of mutual stalking."

She went to Italy for him after all.
