Fifth Floor Common Room, ALL DAY (and Night) [Wednesday]

Having a single now was nice, since it meant Minako didn't have to try being tidy around another person, but it got really lonely really fast.

Hence the fact she'd taken over the common room, making a HUGE bowl of punch and setting out chips, boxes of pop, and (store-bought) cookies before digging around in the closet to find the mats to hook up DDR on the meta for XBox.

"Sweet!" she cheered, as she held up the guitar for a different game. "You can be later. Gotta warm up before rocking out!"

[OOC: OPEN FUN FLUFFY POST, BECAUSE throughaphase DEMANDED IT. And also because paaaaaaaaarty!!! \o/ Up early for great SP Justice.]

Kathy narrowed her eyes at him. She didn't trust that grin for a second.

"I shuffled, of course it's your go," she said, laying down the starter card. A green five. "Build on that."

Sparkle was super pleased, here, okay? He would happily let her 'shuffle' the deck until the end of days.

Or maybe sooner or later he'd relent and actually teach her how.

"Well, good," he said, putting down a card. "Pick up four, and I'm changing it to red. And then we've got a reverse card, and another, and blue."

He finished the whole play with a 2-card, looking pleased.

Yeah. He'd be teaching the girl how to shuffle without dropping all the cards, yet.

After he picked them up from where she flung her hand at him.

"Yeah, well...you suck," she muttered, drawing her four. "Blue, huh?"

Sadly, she hadn't picked up any useful cards in her draw, so instead she laid down a yellow two on top of his.

"No, yellow."

"Go fish," Sparkle muttered, chewing the inside of his cheek, and then making a reach for the draw pile. He pursed his lips as he looked at the card, and then sighed and put it own on top of Kathy's two. Another two. This one was green. "How about not?"

Normally, he liked yellow. But today? Slightly less than usual.

"Nope, I'm pretty sure I meant yellow," Kathy said, putting down another yellow two on top of the green card.

"You're never allowed to shuffle again," Sparkle muttered, pulling another card from the top of the pile. And then smirking and putting it down again. "Skip you." And then he picked up another card still, because that really just left him in the lurch all over again. "And skip you again, and look, I said green, so that means..."

He put down a green five. Walking on the wild side, clearly.

Kathy wished she had a yellow five to play, just so she could spite him. But she didn't, so she was throwing down a zero, the only green card she had. "Fine, but only because I felt sorry for you."
