Fifth Floor Common Room, ALL DAY (and Night) [Wednesday]

Having a single now was nice, since it meant Minako didn't have to try being tidy around another person, but it got really lonely really fast.

Hence the fact she'd taken over the common room, making a HUGE bowl of punch and setting out chips, boxes of pop, and (store-bought) cookies before digging around in the closet to find the mats to hook up DDR on the meta for XBox.

"Sweet!" she cheered, as she held up the guitar for a different game. "You can be later. Gotta warm up before rocking out!"

Alana had a brief moment of wondering if he thought she was that easy before she realized she was, pretty much, exactly that easy. And, apparently, so was he. So, points to Johnny for not wasting time pretending they didn't both know that.

"You know what? Sounds fun," she told him,smirking. "Here, let me give you a sample so you know what you'll be working with."

By which she meant she was stretching up to kiss him if he didn't object.

In his experience, as long as he asked nicely a lot of people were as easy as him. And even if they weren't, they appreciated that he was so nice about it.

Oh, and of course he leaned in for the sample, making sure to show off a little of his talents, too.

Seriously, Johnny loved this school.

Alana was pretty fond of it right that second, too. Her breath was rapid and heavy when she finally pulled back.

"Okay," she said. "I ..." Shit,what was the metaphor they'd been abusing? "I think it's safe to say we should move forward with the interview."

A beat.

"Maybe sooner rather than later."

"Yeah, I think that's a great plan," Johnny said once his brain was back up to speed. "I think there are some empty rooms on the third floor if we don't want to worry about roommates."

Johnny really didn't want to worry about his, after all.

"Good idea. My roomie's from a really long time ago," Alana said by way of agreement and explanation. Not that she thought Celia just sat around judging her sex life or anything, but she'd rather not open the possibility.

She patted her pocket. ID, keys, chapstick: Everything she needed for an adventure like this. She glanced around to make sure she wasn't forgetting anything,but she didn't think she was.

"Anybody you have to say goodbye to?"

Johnny had what he really needed in his wallet. Not that he expected something like this to happen at the party. But Sex & Dating was giving them out, and he couldn't dismiss the possibility of something like this happening. "That would take too long, I'll just apologize for disappearing later," Johnny said. "Let's get out of here."

This was much better than staying late at Book Haven would have been.
