The Roof; Sunday Afternoon (And BEYOND!) - 05/07.

With the last party they had down at the pool, Graham had made a few hints and allusions to another, second party before the start of the summer session, and, well, now was the time! After mentioning it on radio and spreading the word at the picnic and of course spreading around handwavey flyers and texts, the circle was now complete, as they met the "End of the Semester" party with a "Start of the Semester" party! And while one was underneath the dorms, this one would be on top of it!

So, of course, the roof was decked out with decorations of a very summer-y nature, since that was the semester they were heading into, with music playing to match that vibe, a few beach balls and beach umbrellas floating around, too. And, of course, a table with a lot of moddable snacks, drinks, and Graham's proudest touch: a Neapolitan style sheet cake with the words "LET'S ALL HAVE A SUN-SATIONAL SUMMER!!" written on it, and, below it, in parentheses: "(Seas the Day!)"

So come on up, make the porg intern happy, and have a good time celebrating the start of the semester with a good party, a great view, and even better friends!

"Not too bad. Stayed me last week, anyway. Signed up for anything fun this semester?"

"Got a photography class and a dinosaur class I'm really looking forward to" Kurt said with a grin. "The Professor let me choose classes this summer and I had to yr really hard not to sign up for a lot more of them.... but I do want to have some downtime over the summer ya know?"

"Have to have some personal time," TJ agreed, teasing.

"Definitly... All work and no play, definitely isn't my style" he said with a grin.

"There's a shocker." TJ grinned. "How's folks back home?"

"They are doing good. Full force into planting the next round of crops. And the baby goats are growing up fast! I really need to tey and get back to visit sometime soon!"

TJ gave him a deadpan look. "You are such</em a country boy. Goats and crops, seriously?"

[furrybluefreak]

"Well I WAS raised on a farm and all..." Kurt said with a shrug. "I kinda miss it sometimes still. Guess that's a bit of a difference for you huh?"

"Yeah, New York's not exactly country. Well, not my part, anyway." TJ shrugged. "It's probably pretty similar to your Westchester. Good to hear your folks are doing good, even if the whole farm thing is weird. What about your professor and all?"

"Yeah the closest big city growing up was several hours away... but that was probably for the best considering," he said with a general wave at himself. "But things are good back home with the team. The professor is good, pleased this time around school seems to be working out better for me. Logan and the rest of the team are keeping busy and all. Almost makes me jealous Im not part of the team yet."

"You'll get there." TJ waved it off. "You've got a head start being here, too. You take down any of the weird animals last week?"

"Naw but I got some good porting practice trying to avoid them. Libby and I spent her shift at the clinic the one day. What about you? Managed to avoid all the animal shenanigans?"

"Yeah, I was back home with my mom," TJ said. "So you and Libby are doing good?" she teased.

[furrybluefreak]

"Aye... things are good..." Kurt said with a small nod, thankful once more that the red flush he felt spreading over his face was more or less hidden.

Sorry, Kurt, TJ knew the signs! She grinned anyway. "Hey, she seems cool. I mean, not that you need my approval, but I like her. I can give her a shovel talk if you want, though!"
