Sam led the way to the pool, armed with Marty's cricket bat. She set it down when she got to the door and pulled on the handle.

"Locked." She pulled some tools out of her pocket and fiddled with the lock. The doors opened a minute later. "We ready?"

"Yes, they are." Callisto commented, in between getting hit by Jaye.

Several hits may have been in the chest area.

Archie proceeded to swim over and attempt to blindfold Callisto with his vest.

Perhaps not the brightest idea.

Suddenly blinded, Callisto flailed in Archie's general direction.

Archie took a flaily hit in the chin and proceeded to drop the vest and splash sideways into the pool. It took him a second or two to resurface, sputtering, but when he did, he coughed once.

And then started splashing water at Callisto with both hands.

Callisto was not laughing as she splashed water back at Archie. Really. That would have been undignifed.

Nor was Archie laughing. He was taking this quite seriously, as he would any other kind of battle. As befitted a naval officer.

Anything that resembled laughing was purely coincidental, and was in fact the kind of loud, vocal, open-mouthed breathing that was so very advisable when having water splashed in one's face.

Callisto shook her head and spluttered as water went up her nose.
