Rooms 239/240: Moving Day [After Classes]

Even though Marty was given an invitation to move into Room 239/240 by Jack on Sunday, it wasn't until today that Marty finally found the time to pack up his belongings and start the migration to his new digs down the hall.

Sure... Some people would say he was crazy to give up a single but Marty couldn't resist the opportunity to figure out what those Colorado Refugees were trying to hide from the rest of the school.

Marty picked up his first box and looked over to Camilla.

"C'mon girl. Let's go meet our new roomies."

So together Marty and his pet chicken started the migration down the hallway.

Jack finally comes waltzing into the room, completely unaware of what was going on inside.

"Good morning my fellow humanoids! I have come to rescue you from your dreary and unremarkable existence! And I have twinkies!"

Jack surfs through his wallet and pulls out a twenty, handing it to Marty.

"You realize we may both die here tonight? Or today if they're really angry?"

"Hey... I'm buying them an espresso machine and a wide screen TV. They're okay with me. You're the one in hot water, buddy." Marty says pocketing the twenty.

"Don't worry. I've got your back. I'll have Camilla stand guard."

"Yeah, but you're buying it with my card, right?"

"Thanks. Camilla wouldn't by any chance be the one with the uzi from Zombie Weekend now, would she?"

"You think I'm spending my money?" Marty asked.

"That wasn't Camilla on Zombie weekend. That was Der Schnitzel, her sister. But Camilla knows her stuff."

Sam facepalmed. "Jack, you might want to run. Now."

"What? And get Rover sicked on me? I have a thing about small round places tht aren't fun."

"Pretend you're out for a jog. And Rover wouldn't do anything to you, you're a student." She began pushing him out of the room purely for his own safety.

"But then that wouldn't be any fun! And they could do bad things to my dtuff while I'm gone."

"I'd worry about the stuff you have with you. Like the important male stuff."

"Carter would hurt them if they tried anything there though. It's the locker contents I'm worried about."

Sam backed away. "Don't look at me, Jack. You got yourself into this, you get yourself out of it."

Yep, Jack O'Neill versus a grumpy Janet Fraiser, Elizabeth Weir, and Aeryn Sun. Sure this would end well.

Yep, no doubt about it. The big strong Colonel was whining at her. "Better yourself than you, Jack. I've kind of grown attached to having you around, y'know? Like a fungus."

"I think we can go with moss for now, though your roommates may disagree."

"Did you bring me anything to make up for sticking me with a roommate unexpectedly?" she asked. "Besides Twinkies. I need a pretty hefty bribe now."

Her cartoon fish pajamas were tossed haphazardly on her bed. With any luck Jack wouldn't notice them. He was going to notice them, huh?

"My enternal love? And devotion? And... something that won't get me deaded again?" Jack glanced towards Doc's bed. "Fish food?"

"I already have your eternal love and devotion, Jack," said Janet dryly. And no, this conversation wasn't going to set off Marty's 'inbred Colorado hick' radar. At all. "So think of something that will stop me from killing you. Preferably something expensive."

She watched him glance at her pajamas and winced at his comment. "I have so many levels of hate for you right now."

"Eternal love and devotion? Ewwww." Marty thought. "They're not even bothering to hide the fact that they're cousins. Plus isn't Jack dating Sam? Double Ewww."
