2nd Floor Common Room - Starting Late Afternoon - PARTY!

Logan had hooked up his gamestation to the flatscreen TV and was playing a videogame involving a lot of women in bikinis bouncing up and down. He was drinking a non-descript beverage from a plastic cup, and anyone within two feet of him would notice the odor of tequila wafting off him.

A couple of coolers with beverages (all non-alcoholic) were set up around the room, and bags of chips and other snack foods were laid out on the table.

Kara takes a sip of her root beer and says, "Been aching this week. A lot of stress from the weekend, I guess."

"Ouch." John looks down at her knee. "What kind of stress?"

"Running around, trying not to get killed stress?"

John frowns. "Who's trying to kill you?"

Kara gives John a funny look. "Hello? The snow monsters? You were there, right?"

"I was there," John says, nodding. "But you make it sound like they've been chasing you all week, dude. Dreaming of snow monsters?"

"Sorry, no, just been a little tender since then," says Kara. "I don't get to the gym often enough to work it out."

"Ah, gotcha." John nods. "So, you know Professor Skeeter's married, right?"

"No kidding? Poor guy..."

"Yep," he says. "She'll deny it but she's lying. Guy's name is Wilbur Skeeter. Are you in any of Professor Skeeter's classes?"

"Journalistic Intergrity. Don't ask me why," replies Kara. "Woman is cracked."

"Ask her about Wilbur next time you're in there," John says, nodding. "Seriously. Callisto and I dedicated a song to her a few days ago. The woman is cracked. We're gonna drive her insane."

"You should watch out for her. She has some kind of magic thing going on. She might turn you into a frog or something," says Kara.

"Been there, done that," John says, waving a hand. "She turned me into a marmoset a few classes ago. This is payback. Plus, it's funny to drive her insane."

Kara looks surprised. "Huh, well, good luck!"

John gives a thumbs up. "If you ever feel the need to make Professor Skeeter turn red, mention Wilbur Skeeter!"
