2nd Floor Common Room - Starting Late Afternoon - PARTY!

Logan had hooked up his gamestation to the flatscreen TV and was playing a videogame involving a lot of women in bikinis bouncing up and down. He was drinking a non-descript beverage from a plastic cup, and anyone within two feet of him would notice the odor of tequila wafting off him.

A couple of coolers with beverages (all non-alcoholic) were set up around the room, and bags of chips and other snack foods were laid out on the table.

Pippi laughs a little, "Oh I don't know about that so much. It took 'em a while to get to you. And even then you didn't let it slow you down much. That's a very important trait to have. You'd make a great pirate!"

Nadia smiled. "A pirate, huh? I don't know. I get sea sick on sailboats. And where I come from? Slowing down from an injury will only get you killed."

"That's true no matter where you come from... And don't worry about getting sea sick... Manys the sailor who gets landsick on shore!"

Nadia blinked. "You get landsick?"

"Oh no, I never get landsick. But there was one pirate, 'Sea-Legs Sam', oh... He would get it terrible if he even so much as looked at dry land. Got so bad that they'd never let him up for look-out duty. 'Cause he'd see port and he'd call out 'Land *hurk*!' After a while it got so's he'd never leave his ship. Had to retire to a house boat he did."

Nadia snorts on a giggle. Then bursts into a true giggle fit. "You're kidding. That's . . . wow."

"Um... Yeah, I'm pretty sure that one is true. Never can tell though." she smiled.

Nadia continued giggling, insterspersed with an occasional "Land *hurk*", then sighed happily. "That does make me feel a bit better about getting seasick."
